This wonderfully historic townhouse is a perfect balance of modern convenience and beautiful original period features. There are amazing views as the house is situated high within the historical centre. With the piazza only 2 minutes walk away, it's a perfect location for taking a stroll into the town and enjoying a leisurely drink outside one of the bars. The local restaurants are within walking distance and offer fantastic value for money. Traditional regional food is available and is well worth a try.
Within Loreto Aprutino historical centre there are 3 museums containing local finds and 3 churches. There is a tourist office in the square where you can find information regarding local tourist attractions as well as general places of interest in Abruzzo. On Thursday mornings you can experience the local culture as it comes alive on market day.
Venturing outside of Loreto Aprutino, the beach at Montesilvano is 20 minutes drive away. Pescara airport is only 25 minutes drive from Loreto Aprutino and in Pescara one can find many shops, bars, restaurants and a good nightlife.
There are many other hillside towns in the nearby areas including Penne, where a large market is held on Saturdays. The mountains are widely used for skiing and can be reached in a 30 minute drive. Loreto Aprutino is a fantastic location as there is so much within a manageable distance. There's a great deal of historical culture and beautiful scenery, including the national parks. With friendly locals, great food and places to visit it's the perfect holiday destination.

Abruzzo is known for its stunning mountainous terrain and is ideal for a sight-seeing tour around the area's national parks or for those who enjoy a more active holiday, skiing is available only 30 minutes drive from Loreto Aprutino.
The climate changes dramatically with the seasons, offering an idyllic warm summer holiday but a cosy snowy winter with beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains and towns.
Pescara has many hillside towns, each with their own traditions and celebrations.

There is so much culture and history to be found as the local museums and churches display artifacts dating back to medieval times. The architecture found in Loreto Aprutino itself is testament to this and the traditions of Abruzzo are celebrated with flare in the hillside towns of Loreto and many others nearby. The locals are proud of their produce, so a trip to the local olive oil factory or nearby vineyard is very worthwhile. The local tourist office in Loreto Aprutino is available to find out the up-coming festivals and exhibitions featured locally.
As an alternative to the rustic and cultural experience, Pescara offers a range of shops, bars and restaurants. Trains, boats, buses and planes can also be accessed from Pescara.
For a relaxing break, you could spend a day at the beach in Montesilvano which is only 20 minutes drive away by car.
For those without a car, buses can be picked up from the piazza in Loreto Aprutino, making a day trip easy and accessible.
For those with children, a play area with spectacular views can be found at the end of the main street. It's an ideal place to go to have a picnic and sit outside in the sun.

In loreto Aprutino they have several festivals which are highly celebrated and an absolute joy to be a part of. The festivals of San Zopito and La Sagra are wonderfuland offer great local food, an exceptionally warm atmosphere and are very child-friendly. It's definitely a place that welcomes family fun and allows you to experience the true local culture.

The property has a main entrance on the ground floor but can also be accessed via the public stair case running beside the house. This leads to the master bedroom on the second floor and is ideal if the the letting is for two couples as it offers additional privacy. The master bedroom has an en-suite WC and a balcony with stunning views.
The first floor offers a space which can be used as an additional lounge or a second bedroom, with beautiful views from the window. There is a wardrobe and a luxury sofa bed which can be converted prior to your stay and made up as the second double bed of the property if required. The shower room is also on the first floor, with a bidet, sink, shower and WC.
On the ground floor you will find the lounge/kitchen area and a dining room to the rear of the property dating back to medieval times.

A baby cot can be arranged if required.

*Payment due in full 8 weeks before your stay to secure booking.

* Refundable security deposit of £100 required when payment made in full, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). If crockery is broken please replace with something similar and your security deposit will be refunded in full.
