About the home

Untouched corner of Tuscany where nature remained as it used to be and from which it is easy to reach the following towns Firenze - Lucca - Pisa - Siena - San Gimignano.

We apartment excellent for families, with bedroom, a livingroom-kitchen, a bathroom and private garden. The flat is about 50 square meters with indipendent entrance.
There is a big shared garden with swimming pool wher you have space to relax, have sunbath, play games.

Conditions

RULES AT THE ARRIVE:
Refundable breakages deposit of EURO 100 required on arrival, to be refunded at your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
Arrivals must be between 14:00 – 22:00.
Rooms must be left at least at 10:00.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations from 30 dd on arrival to 15 dd on arrival we apply a penalty of 40% of the total price.
Cancellations from 14 dd on arrival to 0 dd on arrival we apply a penalty of 80% of the total price.

The Tuscany / Pisa Province region

The territory has largely conserved its farming origins: the countryside is carefully worked, the plains are dominated by fruit trees, the hills are covered with a pattern of olive groves and rows of vines, and wine, oil, fruit, and also wheat and sunflowers, which are all produced by the numerous agricultural companies.

The typical grey and yellow ochre Tuscan farm buildings can often be seen framed by characteristic double rows of cypresses, skilfully planted along the ridge of the hills and spaced by the natural habitats thriving with wild fauna of pines and age-old woods that change with the seasons to create captivating scenery.

This is a rustic and varied territory where nature lovers can explore the pleasant hiking trails, go trekking on horseback or take bicycle rides along the scenic roads that wind through the farms and small villages set amongst cherry trees, vines and olives and the hamlets bursting with history, to discover the numerous ancient pievi or rural churches that the territory contains, with their early and modern works of art.

The Lorenzana area

Lorenzana, a one time medieval hamlet and castle, has a view that spans the entire profile of the Pisan Hills. Deep in a green setting, it retains the typical appearance of a hillside hamlet.

The early Palazzo dei Lorenzi lies next to a church called Chiesa dei Santi Bartolomeo e Cristoforo and was the Podesteria headquarters during the Florentine rule. Today the building is used as private residences.

The territory is mainly involved in agriculture, producing cereals, olives and wine grapes. The traditional Wine Grape Festival takes place in mid-September, offering visitors an opportunity to taste typical dishes with the local wine.

The villa-farm of counts Giuli and Villa Sforni with its Romanesque church annex are of particular interest in the surrounding areas. The lovely landscape around the town makes the hillside centres of Colle Alberti and Vicchio well worth visiting.
