This lovely detached cottage is set overlooking 2 acres of gardens and pine forest. Oak Cottage is very spacious and equipped to the highest standard - a beautiful property where no expense has been spared to make a luxurious home from home.

Escape to a truly idyllic location in South East Cornwall. Access via country lanes ensures Badham Farm offers complete peace and quiet in a wooded valley away from all main roads. The farm was once part of Prince Charles' Duchy Estate and is situated alongside the Looe Valley railway line in 10 acres of grounds, bordered by a small stream.

Badham Farm has excellent on site facilities with a well stocked fishing lake, full size tennis court, putting green, outdoor badminton court, woodland walks, children’s play area, animal and bird paddock where the children can help with daily feeds, a new gym with a full range of equipment and a jacuzzi for relaxing afterwards (small fee for private hire), large games room for the children, separate bar with bar billiards open every evening, plus a barbecue and picnic area for a great al-fresco experience.

Looe

The stunning town of Looe is divided into East and West Looe by the estuary of the Looe River flowing gently between then two villages. East Looe is a thriving fishing port where you can watch the early morning auction of the freshly landed fish and West Looe is on the quieter side of the river where you can find the starting point for the heritage trail.


Looe area

The towns are characterised by their narrow cobbled streets, steeped in history and full of stories and legends of smugglers and fishing. Just a short walk through the maze of alleyways of East Looe and you will reach a beautiful sandy beach perfect for families and ideal for rock pooling.

There are many attractions available in and around Looe including: speed boat trips round the bay, wreck fishing trips, sailing in a real Cornish lugger or simply relaxing on the beach. There is a wide range of restaurants and cafes, many of them on the quay, where you can sample the local fish and watch the sun go down over the river. Traditional Inns and cosy pubs are tucked away in the narrow streets and offer a relaxed atmosphere.

The unspoilt fishing village of Polperro is just 3 miles away where again you’ll find a maze of narrow lanes leading down to a picturesque and truly unspoilt harbour. Many other towns and attractions within Cornwall are close by and well worth exploring.
