Delightfully re-furbished at the beginning of 2008 the cottage has everything you will need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The West Country / Cornwall region
Cornwall has one of the most beautiful, varied and spectacular coastlines in the UK. There are miles of unspoilt coast to explore from secluded coves, picturesque fishing villages and wide stretches of surf-washed sand. As well as the natural beauty there are many attractions and activities to suit all tastes from surfing to exploring wonderful gardens with sub-tropical plants. The peninsular also has a warmer climate than the rest of England, and is a great place for a holiday at any time of year.
Looe / East Looe area
Looe is a traditional cornish seaside town and still has a thriving fishing community and is home to the second largest fleet in Cornwall.
East Looe is the more vibrant part with many medieval narrow streets and alleyways to explore. There are lots of activities for the children to enjoy, safe swimming from the beach, rock-pooling, crab fishing from the quay and in the summer season trampolines are on the beach, which is just a minutes walk from the cottage. A few minutes walk in the opposite direction takes you to a good range of shops, restaurants, cafes and the quayside where you can see the fisherman at work.
West Looe can be reached by foot ferry when the tide is in or a stroll across the seven arch 19th century bridge. The more subdued part of Looe has a great rock-pooling beach and good views of St George's Island which is a nature reserve. Tennis courts, a bowling green and a scuba diving centre are also based there, as is the oldest pub in Looe, The Jolly Sailor.
Polperro can be reached along the coastal path within a couple of hours, or more, if you stop for a cream tea at Talland Bay. Polperro is a beautiful fishing village with much charm and history and well worth the walk (you could always catch the bus back to Looe!)
Attractions within easy reach of Looe - Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Helligan, Lanhydrock House, Fowey and Plymouth Aquarium.
