Looe has a fantastic bustling waterfront and harbour with a great selection of shops, restaurants, beaches and coastal walks.
The beautiful town of Looe is divided into East and West Looe by the Estuary of the Looe River. East Looe has a popular family friendly beach just a short walk away through the narrow cobbled streets of the town, steeped in history and full of stories and legends of smugglers and fishing. Across the seven-arched Victorian bridge lies West Looe which enjoys a quiet way of life with 16th century inns and delightful rock pools to explore on the beach it really is the perfect holiday retreat. The property benefits from an integral garage for parking.

LIVING
The entrance to The Old School House is very unique and still has the original door. There are steps that lead to the hall way with the separate living and dining area to each side of the property. The living area retains much of the original character of the property and benefits from views overlooking the bustling harbour of East Looe where you can watch the world go by. The living area features a large corner leather sofa for comfort and entertainment is provided by the T.V.
DINING
The dining area remains much of the original character and also benefits from views over looking the harbour - a great place for entertaining and enjoying an evening meal. The well appointed kitchen benefits from a utility room and integrated appliances include a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, oven and gas hob along with a kettle, a toaster and all glassware, crockery and cutlery.
SLEEPING
Master bedroom
This room has been beautifully decorated and features a double bed and 2 bedside tables both with bedside lamps . There is also a wash basin and W.C which is accessed from the bedroom.

The third bedroom has a single bed with an additional pull out bed.

Sheltered from the Atlantic sea, the South Coast of Cornwall provides a dramatic, more sheltered coastline with breath taking valleys that sweep down to the sea where quiet coves and sandy beaches lie whilst also offering the delights of picturesque towns and villages such as Looe, St Austell, Cawsands, Polperro, Truro and Tavistock.
Due to the warm climate and stunning coastline the South coast is the perfect all year round holiday destination; and with plenty of attractions on offer there is sure to be something to suit everyone. Choose from the many beautiful sandy beaches, amazing coastal and countryside walks, pretty fishing villages, country houses and gardens, not to mention the fine cuisine that is available.
There is plenty of opportunity to sample the delights of some of the County’s finest produce all year round although especially during the late summer when The Cornwall Food Festival takes place in Truro - it’s a real foodies heaven and helps make South Cornwall full of temptation!
The Looe area
The sandy beaches and stunning walks of the North and South are easily accessible and the beautiful fishing port of Looe with its family beaches, diving and deep sea fishing trips and many good restaurants and old traditional pubs.

- For bookings arriving within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full by debit or credit card.
- Credit card payments will incur a 2.95% service charge.
- Only Saturday to Saturday bookings are accepted in July and August.
- Short breaks (min. 3 nights) are accepted at all other times of the year.
- Each booking also incurs a non-refundable booking fee of £35.
- All our properties are non-smoking, though smoking is permitted in outside areas.
- Properties in Dartmouth and Kingswear incur a 10% premium for stays over Dartmouth Regatta week. Properties in Fowey incur a 10% premium for stays over Fowey Regatta and Carnival week. Properties in Bude incur a 10% premium for stays over the Bude Jazz Festival.
