About the home

A beautiful Grade II listed, 3 bedroom 15th Century cottage situated on the level in the old part of Looe. It really is only moments from the beach and river and you'll be surrounded by restaurants, public houses and the shops. The cottage is restored, featuring ships beams, timbers, panelling and its smuggler tunnel which you can see the filled in outline of in the kitchen and in the top bedroom.
Easily sleeps 6 people and has cot and high chair available. All linen and towels (except beach) included.

Family run, only cottage and I make it as easy to book as I can ... just tell me!

Looe is served by a scenic railway branch line from the mainline at Liskeard. Also, a train journey on the Looe Valley Line will take you to the ancient stone circle at Duloe; the holy well at St Keyne.

National Express Coaches to Plymouth connect with coaches to Looe. By road it is easily reached via the M5 / A38.

“lovely cosy cottage” lovely old cottage,with large bedrooms.excellent bathroom with large bath.with two separate showers.well equipped kitchen with a comfy lounge. where there was games and books for the children ,also bucket and spades for the beach .excellent location close to shops ,pasties to die for(beach) where my son picked his mussels for tea ..( pubs), etc the ship inn, where the kids would play pool,also the jolly sailor over in west Looe is good too. (restaurants) ,smugglers inn is very nice. also the Chinese and curry house.great all round location.we all had a fantastic time x

“Perfect family pirate cottage” We had a brilliant week here - weather dodgy but kids (aged 4, 6 & 8) loved staying in a pirate ship (small and cosy with wooden beams to duck and twisty stairs - you can see their point). Kitchen/lounge has everything you need, including books, games, guidebooks and all the buckets, nets and beach cricket gear you could wish for. For grown-ups, it's a few steps from every type of take-away you need and great pubs as well as a big bath upstairs for relaxing with one of those books. Short stroll to beach and right in middle of town but not too noisy. Excellent local tourist info office up the street and parking over the river no problem.
