Saltaire provides its guests with the perfect holiday get away. Located along a quiet private road, it has fabulous sea views, stretching from the Rame Head Peninsula in the East, to Looe Island in the West. On a clear day the Eddystone Rock Lighthouse is clearly visible on the horizon. Whether you simply wish to relax with a good book and a glass of wine on one of the 2 decks, or prefer to get out and about Saltaire provides the ideal location for your holiday.
The sea off of Plaidy beach is surprisingly calm all year round making it ideal for those wishing to try water sports such as dingy sailing, windsurfing, kayaking or waterskiing. Whilst frequent sea fishing trips depart from Looe harbour on a near daily basis in the summer. There's even an 18 hole golf course just 5 minutes drive away. Many restuarants in Looe combine the freshest local produce to create some of the most mouth watering and delicious meals. Try the Looe muscles for starters. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project and many beautiful National Trust properties are all within easy reach of Saltaire. And last but not least dont forget your walking boots. There's 630 miles of the South West Coastal path running by Saltaire's front gate!

One of the stunning features at Saltaire is its top deck. This large decked area at the very top of the steeply sloping garden sits high above the roof line, looking out over the house below and provides stunning views along the coast and out to sea. A hot tub, summer house, sun lounger, table and chairs and BBQ have all been provoided to make the most of this feature.
As Saltaire is located on a steeply sloping site it is not recommended for Children under 7 or individuals with restricted mobility. For further advice please feel free to call.
The West Country region
Looe is a traditional Cornish fishing port.
A little further along the coast to the West is the beautiful town of Fowey. Set on the West bank of the deep River Fowey the narrow streets lead the visitor through a host of cafes, restaurants, galleries and local shops.
The unique Eden Project, and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a must see for all gardening enthusiasts, whilst The National Maritime Museum and The National Aquarium provides a great escape on those rare days when the sun fails to shine.
Cornwall is blessed with more than its fair share of Castles and Stately Homes. Many such as Lanhydrock are run by the National Trust and open to the public all year round.
When staying at Saltaire you're just a short drive away from some of Cornwall's most well know attractions and treasures. Indeed some like the the picturesque fishing village of Polperro with its white washed fisherman's cottages, narrow stream flanked streets and historic harbour can be reached on foot. Just follow the Cornish Coastal Path West from Saltaire, through Looe, out into the open countryside and along the coast. On the way you will pass through Talland Bay with its small beach, cafe (only open in the Summer months). There are frequent local buses back to Looe for those who don't fancy the return walk. Whilst In Polpero stop for lunch in the "3 Pilchards Pub" next to the harbour.
