The West Country / Cornwall region
Cornwall is the perfect location to get away from our hectic daily lives. The fresh air, beautiful scenery, rugged coastline and soft sandy beaches are a draw all year round. Cornwall is far more accessible now with excellent dual carrigeways serving the main towns a typical journey from Birmingham to Looe for example is 3 1/2 hours by car.
Looe / East Looe area
Looe is a vibrant, historic fishing port where one can choose from a host of activities including safe bathing from the golden sandy beach, rock pooling and whiling away the hours crabbing off the quayside and watching the local fisherman unloading the days catch. Many other watersports such as parascending, water skiing and surfing are available nearby.
The coastline in this region is beautiful and is accessible by the scenic Cornwall South Coast Path. In addition, throughout the year Looe hosts a range of events including sailing regattas, a jazz festival, carnival week and even a duck race! New year at Looe is made really special with the whole town celebrating in fancy dress and fireworks at midnight off the beach.
A lovely picturesque railway running along the river connects East Looe to Liskeard giving further access to the national rail network.
The river divides East and West Looe and both areas have a wealth of quaint buildings, cobbled streets, award winnning restaurants, cafes, traditional pubs and a variety of interesting shops, art galleries and boutiques.

Continuing up the spiral staircase is the luxury master bedroom full of charm with king size bed, vaulted ceiling with exposed beams (one of which is 4ft high! - see photograph), Juliet balcony, ample wardrobe space, chest of drawers and matching bedside tables.
