About the home

Each apartment has its own balcony or sun terrace with garden furniture provided. The restaurants and shops of Looe are only a ten minute walk away. The spectacular coastal footpath to Polperro runs alongside the beach right in front of the apartments.

The apartment has a fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, Wi-Fi internet access, digital TV in the living area and bedrooms and a music system and DVD player. Freshly laundered linen and towels, heating and electricity are included in the price of your holiday.

We include free passes for the Hannafore Point Hotel Leisure Centre, which has heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa pool and gymnasium.

The pool is very warm and is ideal for those odd days when the sun is not shinning. After using the leisure facilities you are welcome to use the Hotels bar for a well deserved drink and enjoy their fantastic panoramic sea views.

We include three passes per apartment per week. Additional leisure passes can be purchased at a discounted rate from our reception.

All these facilities are only 3 minutes walk from the apartments.

DOGS
Well-behaved dogs are allowed in Duchy & Penthouse by prior agreement. If you wish to bring your dog(s) please add £20 per dog to the cost of your holiday. Dogs are not allowed on any furniture or in the bedrooms and must not be left in the apartment unattended. Owners must keep their dogs under control whilst in our grounds and not allow their dogs to use the gardens as a toilet! Accidents should be cleared up immediately.

The West Country / Cornwall region

Our self catering holiday accommodation is set overlooking the sea in the historic fishing port of Looe in Cornwall.

Looe is centrally located in Cornwall and is near the world famous Eden Project. We have eight self-catering holiday apartments, all with fantastic sea views and off street parking. Our holiday apartments provide hotel quality with the flexibility and freedom of self catering. Deep Blue View is set sixty feet above sea level, two minutes walk from Hannafore beach and only ten minutes walk from the shops, harbour and town of Looe with its narrow, twisting streets and quaint Cornish cottages. Each apartment has magnificent sea views across Looe Bay, St George's Island and the coastline to Rame Head. The spectacular coastal footpath to Polperro runs alongside the beach right in front of the apartments.

The Looe / West Looe area

Hannafore, West Looe is a popular location for people to relax and enjoy the rock pools, beach and views of Looe Bay and St.George's Island. Boats are available from Looe Harbour for those wishing to visit the Island. For the more energetic , there is diving, tennis, swimming or the spectacular coastal footpath to Talland Bay and the picturesque fishing village of Polperro.

Ten minutes walk away, the busy twin towns of East and West Looe lie either side of the harbour and are joined by the famous arched bridge. Looe offers quaint old buildings, twisting streets, smugglers taverns and some of Cornwall's finest restaurants. The activities of the fishing fleet are a constant fascination, to visitors and locals alike, who can enjoy watching the latest catch being landed at the Fish Quay. The Quay also provides a base for the many boatmen offering everything from short sea trips to longer fishing trips to catch mackerel, conger and shark.

Looe also has its own railway, the Looe Valley Line, a single track branch line running alongside the estuary and river through the rolling countryside between Looe and Liskeard. Safe bathing from Looe's two beaches and the many leisure activities; tennis, riding, bowls, putting, water sports, golf, fishing, scenic walks, National Trust properties, will help make your visit as varied, interesting, active or relaxing as you want!

From Exeter take the A38 towards Plymouth (not the A30). At Plymouth follow the A38 towards Liskeard crossing the Tamar Bridge into Cornwall.

After the low bridge at Kenrow Mills turn left at the roundabout (A374) and follow the signs to Looe.

As you come into Looe cross over the bridge and take the first left along Quay Road, this leads into Hannafore Road, which has a sharp bend up the hill along the cliff road.

Follow this road until you get to Tom Sawyers Tavern and Restaurant on the right.

Turn right here into Portuan Road and follow this for no more that 100 yards and you will find Lemain Garden Apartments on your right hand side.

The car park is in front of the building.
