SE Cornwall is the gateway to this stunning county. It has great high speed rail air and road access routes from the M5 motorway and A38 Express way to Plymouth. SE Cornwall boasts some of the nicest beaches in the county and the coast is dotted with pretty fishing ports such as Looe, Polperro, Fowey and Mevagissey all famous for their pirate history.
Not only that but access to some great attractions like the world renowned Eden project, Lost gardens of Heligan and Flambards theme park are but a short car ride away. If all that is not enough Cornwall can proudly boast it's climate as being one of the best in the UK with average temperatures two degrees higher than other areas mainly due to it's southerly latitude and the warming effects of the Gulf stream that bathe the southern coast.
The Looe / St Martin, Cornwall area
Only 1.5 miles from Tregoad Manor house the pretty fishing port of Looe nestles in a tree lined valley inlet from the sea. It has a log history as a fishing port haven for pirates and merchants in a bygone age. It now represents a great place to explore and has an eclectic mix of smugglers pubs, award winning seafood restaurants and shops.
Just a short hop down the coast is Talland Bay a great beach set amongst rock pools and golden sands. For those wishing to get some exercise whilst admiring the view the coastal walks from Torpoint and the Rame peninsula all the way to Boneick and Fowey are simply outstanding
