The Water Mill at East Trenean Farm
Tucked away on the south coast of Cornwall within an area of outstanding natural beauty, just 3 miles from the nearest beaches and town. Quiet and tranquil and a haven for wildlife. Beautiful barn with many original features complimented with all the quality modern furnishings and equipment needed for a very comfortable holiday. Very clean and modern internally. Near to many attractions and fabulous beaches.
Beautifully converted ex water mill with a lovely high vaulted living space, original stone walls and beams.
Cosy and spacious with bags of character and charm.
The accommodation is arranged over two levels.
Enter from your private front garden (with it's own pond, wooden garden furniture and level lawn) to the upper level.
Here you will find the vaulted sitting room, dining area, kitchen and utility room.
A solid oak staircase leads to the lower level with it's two bedrooms and shower room with toilet, basin and large shower cubicle (no bath).
Both bedrooms have zip-link beds offering the flexibility of king size doubles or twin beds in each room. Just let us know your preference before you arrive.
Double doors lead from the main bedroom to a sunny and sheltered patio.
Decorated with a mixture of white walls and natural stone / lime mortar with oak flooring, woollen ethnic rugs and wooden furniture.
Very clean, well equipped, bright modern kitchen with dish washer, oven and grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle. Utility room with washing machine, iron, ironing board etc. Hair dryer.
Baby bath available.
Water comes from our own bore hole, so we have freshly filtered spring water on tap.
Free range eggs available subject to the ongoing cooperation of our chickens!
New for 2015: relax in the 8 person hot-tub, situated in the farmhouse grounds, with views across rolling countryside and a distant glimpse of the sea.
We make an additional charge of 5 pounds per person using the hot tub to cover the hire of a towelling robe and a contribution to running costs.

Cornwall and Devon are well known for their warm maritime climate driven by close proximity to the Gulf stream.
The varied landscape provides something for everyone.
For walkers, there are the more arduous walking conditions found in Bodmin Moor and on Dartmoor. There are wonderful walks along the South West Coastal Path with it's breathtaking views and a whole string of beaches and coves to explore.
For gardeners, there are many wonderful gardens to visit.
For families, there is a legendary range of activities available from sunny beaches and water sports to go-karting and water parks for fun filled days out.
East Trenean Farm is in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) among beautiful rolling countryside but just 3 miles from the coast at Looe.
We are within easy reach of many of the excellent beaches on the south coast.
The south west coastal path is close by and a must for walkers.
Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are also within easy reach for the more adventurous walkers.
Watersports are available at many of the beaches and fishing is popular from Looe.
In addition to the excellent beach and fishing, Looe benefits from an broad range of shops, taverns, restaurants, and galleries catering to all budgets.
The thriving University city of Plymouth is 30 minutes away with its lively nightlife on the Barbican, great shopping at the new Drake Circus centre, world famous Aquarium, views over the Sound from the Hoe, numerous marinas and boat yards.
In the opposite direction, Fowey, St Austell, Bodmin, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens Gardens of Heligan are all within easy reach.
The National Trust look after miles of near-by coast and countryside from Whitsand to Polperro and have their own car parks to strike out from.
