The Cornwall region
Looe is well placed for visiting much of Cornwall with all its beautiful beaches, quaint coastal towns and famous houses and gardens. Do not forget the drama of Bodmin Moor, or the beautiful walks along the coastal paths. If its activities you are after, there are plenty of companies offering exciting expeditions eg canoeing, karting, coasteering and many more. For small children there are leisure and animal attractions for all.
Looe is a bustling fishing town with loads of restaurants and pubs giving plenty of choice for all budgets. Looe caters for residents and visitors alike so there is a wide choice of supermarkets, bakers, butchers, banks, post office, chemist, hairdressers, clothing, gift shops, beach shops and fish market.
East Looe’s clean sandy beach is ideal for families and is just a 10 minute walk through the town. Hannafore beach, West Looe, is approximately 10 minutes walk in the other direction and has lovely rock pools and views across to Looe Island. The National Trust beach at Whitsand Bay is just one of many more that are a short car drive away.
The SW coast path will take you to Polperro or the private lane at the bottom of the apartments takes you to Killminorth Woods with a lovely walk along the West Looe River - a favourite with our visiting joggers.
When you have had enough of the beach, try one of the various boat and fishing trips available or why not spend a family afternoon crabbing from the quay. The SW Coast path or walks in Kilminorth Woods will provide plenty of exercise and breathtaking scenery.
Of course there are also plenty of other exciting places to visit nearby but it's easy to have a few car-free days when staying in Looe.

"A great apartment, where the owners have thought of everything."
This apartment is clean, tidy and modern. The owners have thought of everything for the holidaying family or group; from the tips and reviews of places to visit in the apartment folder, to the beach games equipment box, this apartment is a great base for a stay in this pretty, vibrant coastal town.

"A pleasant experience!"
Pleasant modern spacious apartment, recently refurbished, and with great views along the river. All appliances were new and easy to use, and communications with the owner were very good before our holiday. We would recommend the accommodation to families and children, but the steep steps would make access difficult for anyone with movement problems. Very nice property, and a great holiday ( despite the mixed weather!) Thank you Christine.
Thanks - glad you enjoyed yourselves. Please note the river views disappear when the trees are in full leaf.

"Very handy place"
Neap tide is the middle of three rental properties. It was very clean and well maintained, infact I'd go as far as to say it is one of the best thought out holiday cottages I've stayed in. Though be warned there is no washing machine if you're on an extended stay. Only other issue is, despite the name, these apartments don't have a view of the river as mature trees now block the view (this is stated on the web site). Though this does provide a birds eye view of ..well birds! Looe is only a five minute walk away and if you like nature then there is a lovely riverside walk five minutes in the other direction. Overall a great place to stay.

"Fantastic for the family"
This modern apartment was exactly what we needed. The appartment was so close to all local amenities and gave us ample space as a family to stay. There is plenty to see and do and the apartment is well equipped with all you will need. My only negative was in respect of washing a drying clothes. As a family of four we get through clothes quite quickly. The owners however were very good at supplying details of local facilities. I could not believe how friendly everyone was and how welcoming. A definte place we will return to and thoroughly recommended.

"Fabulous Apartments in a fantastic location."
Spent a wonderful week in Neap Tide. The apartment was fantastic value for money especially during the summer holidays, a rare find. Beautifully presented with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Communication and information provided was great. Location near to town with a parking space was an added bonus. If we holiday in Looe again we will definitely return to the apartments. Jo & Rich

"The perfect English holiday"
We stayed in Neap Tide for three nights in a typical English summer and had a wonderful holiday. There is free parking next to the apartment, lovely quiet outdoor terrace space to relax in or out of the sun. It was ideal for us as grandparents, mum and small child. The apartments are perfectly furnished and equiped for all ages. Plenty of room for us all to 'do our own thing'. Looe is a short walk and an oldfashioned small seaside town with plenty of good restaurants, pubs, walks, activities and a lovely playground. The beach is quiet and clean- we paddled- and the crab fishing unbelievable. Charlie the biggest crab on the jetty will be a family memory.

"Clean, Tidy & great location"
A nice, clean & spacious apartment, a short walk to the beach & town centre, with its many restaurants & pubs. A great location to explore cornwall further outside of looe also.

"Great apartment, worked well with our large family."
Neap Tide is built into a hillside so be prepared for that if with young children, the steps can be a little hazardous. The apartment is well laid out, ideal for our large family of seven, the little ones enjoyed exploring the small garden. The walk into Looe town was only five - ten minutes, a little longer on the way back as its uphill. Plenty to do, even if the weather isnt good. We found it quite expensive to eat out, but enjoyed dinner at the Golden Guinea pub, Kellys fish and chips was large portions and lovely food as well. Bath could have done with a non slip mat as baby didnt enjoy slipping about.

"Perfect Location, Perfect Apartment, Perfect Holiday!!"
We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Looe, Cornwall! The accommodation was perfect for us, a group of six 20-somethings. Plenty of space, very well equipped and with a lovely outdoor area, we even managed to have a BBQ! And all just a two minute walk from Looe centre. Oh and there is even a private parking space! The service provided by the owners was wonderful, they were very generous with arrival and departure times and I always received a prompt response to emails. I would not hesitate to strongly recommend this apartment!! A lovely holiday had by all, thank you!
