Seagulls is family accommodation having lovely country and sea views from the private timber decked south facing balcony.Good day to day facilities can be found in the centre of the village. Most importantly for children there is a lovely beach just 5 minutes walk away with a sandy area for safe swimming and many rock pools to explore at low tide.

The West Country / Cornwall region
Cornwall has always been a popular place for holidays, and more and more people travel to this tranquil part of the British Isles to discover for themselves the delights of pretty coves and idyllic villages,lovely fishing harbours famous for smuggling in times past, and the quiet stillness of Bodmin Moor. As you drive around the county along quiet narrow lanes you will come across relics of old tin mines and china clay workings. Cornwall is blessed with the mildest climate in England, and on a summers day you can imagine that you are in France. Cornwall has something for everyone.
Looe / Downderry area
Downderry, located between Rame Head and the quaint fishing town of Looe, offers the perfect starting point from which to explore this stunning county.The village amenities are excellent with a well stocked shop and Post Office,very nice Rosary Restaurant, good value Swan Cafe' and village pub, The Inn On The Shore all within a few minutes walk. For children and sun lovers there are fabulous beaches with safe swimming and rock pools and quiet little coves. There is fishing and boating in nearby lakes if the sea is a bit rough, and 18 hole golf at Whitsand Bay and Saltash. The famous Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and several National Trust properties are within easy driving distance. Just a few miles north you'll find the wild barren wonders of Bodmin Moor, and the north Cornwall coast is easily visited in a day.For those who enjoy walking,the famous South West Coast Path provide plenty of opportunities along with breathtaking views from Rame Head in the east to Looe Island in the west.

It is definitely beneficial to have a car as it makes visiting tourist attractions, such as the Eden Project, quaint fishing villages like Polpero, the miles of beautiful coastline and beaches, that much more accessible to explore at your own pace.

Further details indoors: The kitchen area is compact and very well equipped for a family of four.There is one double bedroom and one with full size bunk beds. The fully tiled bathroom has a bath, over bath shower and WC.The open plan lounge is comfortably furnished and has sliding patio doors to the sunny balcony from which you can see the Eddystone Lighthouse and ship movements to and fro Plymouth. The central heating system ensures a comfortable stay for guests throughout the year.
Further details outdoors: Seagulls is part of a small close of apartments and bungalows with beautiful views from the balcony. Patio furniture is provided for dining outside.There is a private flight of steps to the apartment as it is on the first (top ) floor. There is parking for one car in the private car park surrounded by attractively landscaped gardens.

Conditions
One small well trained dog is allowed, subject to an additional charge of £10 per week, but must be kept under control and never left alone in the property. Please do not let your dog foul the grounds. Hire of high chair available
