Millward House is set in the heart of Longnor and makes a wonderful period holiday base from which to enjoy the delights of the Peak District. This cottage sleeps six people and has three bedrooms consisting of two double bedrooms, one of which is on the second floor, one twin bedroom, as well as two family bathrooms, one on the first floor and one on the second floor. Downstairs is a kitchen, dining room and sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside are an enclosed courtyard and walled garden, and roadside parking. With the amenities of Longnor on the doorstep, and the Peak District National Park surrounding you, Millward House makes a superb base for families or friends alike.

The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.


Longnor, set on the Staffordshire moorlands between the River Dove and the Rive r Manifold, is a great centre for enjoying this area. The amenities in Longnor include shops, a post office, tearoom and craft centre. More amenities can be found in the market towns of Buxton and Bakewell. Within easy reach are Alton Towers, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, as well as the walking and cycling trails of the National Park.
