Harrogate Cottage Ref 1474
from £40 /night help
Cottage | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
This cosy, stone-built cottage lies on the edge of the charming, traditional village of Longframlington. Only six miles from the bustling town of Alnwick, this property has been sympathetically restored by the current owners. The open-plan living area with exposed beams and woodburner, is the perfect place to spend an evening after a long day walking through the picturesque countryside. With a separate outbuilding containing a sun room and a utility room, this cottage would be a fantastic place for a family holiday with teenagers, looking for their own space. The garden is a great place for atmospheric outdoor dining – with mature trees, an unfenced pond and a barbecue, this is relaxed country living at its best.

The Northumberland region
Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
With the recorded Augustinian Priory of Brinkburn on the banks of the River Coquet, a short, pleasant drive away, this activity-filled location will appeal to history enthusiasts as well as walkers. The spectacular Alnwick Castle is also nearby, as is a fabulous National Park in which birdwatchers can enjoy sightings of various unusual species. In addition, the National Trust's Cragside House and Gardens are just ten minutes to the west, and with the Heritage Coastline and its sandy beaches waiting only fifteen minutes down the road, you'll be spoiled for choice of things to see and do.
