The residence, with a large, shared, heated pool (5m x 11m) by the reception and several semi-private and heated pools(4m x 8m, shared between 2 villas), ideal for 2 families travelling together, as well as a safe sandy beach within walking distance, this makes an ideal place for a relaxing family holiday. The villas themselves are in groupings of 2 or 3 and have a modern, crisp interior decor. They are fully equipped with all mod cons and even have a flat screen TV and internet access in every villa.
Villa for 4-6 persons (approx.45m²) has access to the shared pool and a semi-private pool.
The open plan living room has a pull-out sofa bed making 2 twin beds, a dining area with table and chairs and a kitchen area which is equipped with ceramic hob, microwave with grill, a fridge and a dishwasher. There is one double bedroom and a further small bedroom with bunk beds. The villas have one bathroom. Some of the villas have a carport but all have their own parking space.
The residence has a covered outdoor games area where table tennis tables will be installed.
A Breakfast Basket can be ordered (the day before) from reception.

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Vendee region
The Vendee lies between the Côte d'Argent and Brittany but with a character all of its own. The Atlantic Coast stretches 140 km, full of fine white sandy beaches with an amazing 210 days sunshine per year, a record rivalling that of the south of France. The Vendée coast is renowned for its luminosity and is called locally "LA COTE DE LA LUMIERE"... The Vendée is rich with many museums, castles and heritage centres to visit.
It is a land of naturally preserved space with a variety of pleasures such as sandsurfing, horse riding, golfing, watersports and Spa Thalassotherapy centres offering revitalising salt water cures. The Vendée is reclaimed land and therefore flat and riddled with creeks, vast beaches and sand dunes inviting you to relax. In the dusk, fine pleasure ports transform into lively, welcoming stopovers with a variety of museums, gardens, festivals, folklore pageants and magnificent evening shows.
Longeville sur Mer area
Longeville is at the extremity of the Marais Poitevin and you can go on a 2 hours small boat or canoe marked trips. You can discover some megaliths while cycling on marked tracks, near Longeville, or le Moulin “ Bots Pias” while mountain biking.
There is a track that is 10 kilometres long on a mountain bike that will take you all around the marshes. Every year, a semi-marathon is organised in July. There are many walks in the coastal forest and also a fun orientaring course. The Piere-qui-vire (twisting stone) or Russelet standing stone is a huge block of local sandstone in a field near Longeville-sur-Mer, between the D21 and the D105 roads. It is 3.8m (12.5ft) high and is the only one still upright in the Talmondais area of Vendée.
Surfing lessons are available (at a discounted rate) from the surf shop close to the entrance of the residence. A wide range of watersports are available in the area as well as fishing. There are children's amusement parks and water parks within an easy drive.
How to get there
By car: 4h30 drive from Paris and 3 hours from Bordeaux. By train: Les Sables d'Olonne train station is 26 km away. By ferry: St Malo 290 km (3h30 drive). Calais 672 km (6h30 drive). By air: Nantes airport (105 km), La Rochelle airport (87 km). There are regular flights with Ryanair to Nantes from Stansted,East Midlands, Dublin and Shannon. It takes about 1h 30 mins to drive from Nantes. Alternatively, several airlines fly into La Rochelle, which is a similar distance : Flybe from Birmingham and Southampton, Ryanair from Stansted and Dublin and Easyjet from Bristol. All the main car hire companies have desks at both airports.

Further details indoors: The villas have a small bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a double bedroom. There is a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge, suitable for 2 people. The bathroom has a bath or a shower, a hand basin and WC.
Further details outdoors: Some villas have a car port. There are ping pong tables at your disposal and you may borrow vaccum cleaners, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards as well as board games from reception.

There is a damage and security deposit of 200 euros per property. Bed linen can be hired for 6 euros per person and towels for 5 euros per person. Baby cots can be hired for 10 euros per week and high chairs for 6 euros per week. There is a communal laundry with machines operated by tokens, which can be obtained from reception. Pets are allowed at a cost of 25 euros per animal per week. An end of stay clean costs between 50 and 60 euros, depending on the size of your accommodation.
A Breakfast Basket can be ordered, the day before, from reception (6 euros per adult and 4 euros per child).
All villas have internet access. You just need to bring your own laptop. There is a small charge for internet usage and vouchers, along with an access code, can be obtained from reception.
