In the lounge, stone walls and wooden beams are set off by a fresh and pretty colour scheme. The sofa opens into a double bed, which is suitable for one or two children.

Further details outdoors

The Jetty House has a Juliet balcony with views over Loggos harbour.

Looking out from the sitting area is over the boats moored in the harbour.

Loggos is one of the most beautiful little harbours in the Ionian, and the views are proof of this.

The Ionian Islands region

Paxos is the smallest of the Ionian Islands, lying just 11 km from the southernmost tip of Corfu. Many visitors return year after year to Paxos to experience the intimacy of this peaceful haven, the genuine friendliness of the local Paxiots, and the captivating scenery. Paxos is covered in many olive groves intersected by dry-stone walls and paths, that often lead to a derelict villa or abandoned stone olive press! The gnarled and twisted olive trees, some of them hundreds of years old, shelter numerous species of wild flowers at their roots, while here and there, small vineyards flourish. This serene and unspoiled landscape is what makes a holiday to the island of Paxos truly memorable.

On an island famed for its small-scale beauty, Loggos stands out as one of the most enchanting places on Paxos. Visitors never fail to succumb to its unique charm, and many of them have been returning year after year, glad to see that the changes are negligible, and that you still have to get up from your taverna meal to let the local bus squeeze past! The boats still bob along the curve of the quayside, fascinating in their variety, from sleek yachts to less glamorous fishing boats.

The tiny harbour of Loggos, colourful enough for any artist or photographer, has a refreshingly intimate atmosphere, unspoiled by the daily influx of curious visitors. At night, little can be heard but the buzz of conversation from the busy tavernas where fresh fish always tops the menu and there is an intriguingly cosmopolitan atmosphere. Three mini-markets, a bakery with wonderful fresh bread every day, and supplies of fresh fruit and vegetables brought over regularly from the mainland, make self-catering a simple matter - but who could resist the conviviality and choice of excellent food at the waterfront tavernas? A pleasant beach lies to one side of the harbour - other more secluded beaches are within easy reach.

"Noisy, lack of sleep"

Spiros Jetty House We are the clients who spent a one week holiday (21-28 July 2014) in the Spiros Jetty House, which is situated above a bar which as Agnitravel advertised as " quiet and lazy ba… More

Dear Nick, thank you for having submitted your review.

I am really sorry to see that your stay didn't meet your expectations.

Spiros Jetty House is one of the most appreciated properties of our Paxos programme, located in a unique position and providing the most sensational views over Loggos Bay. As the previous reviews can highlight, this property provides quality and value for money yet in close proximity to shops and restaurants.

When we have been notified by you about the problem with the noise from the nearby chillout bar, we promptly offered to upgrade you free of charge to our Villa Thanasis that is our "top of the range" villa on Paxos. Having this offer been declined, we supposed that the issue brought to our attention had only caused a minor temporary disruption to your quiet. But I now understand that this turned out to be a serious reason of unhappiness for you, totally surprising me as Loggos is a quiet sleepy coastal village with no nightlife or chaos. Equally important to say is that we never received during this season (and as far as I know during the previous seasons) any complaints about this same aspect. We have contacted the owner of the house who of course is as committed as us to verify what exactly happened on this specific occasion.

Our local staff is also investigating about all the other points mentioned (our cleaner has been working with us for many years providing a consistent standard) in order to provide unforgettable holidays to many more clients this summer.

We hope to welcome you again soon in one of our properties, having now a much clearer idea of your exact requirements, so that we will be able to provide you a stress free summer holiday.
