Welcome to the 4 saisons apartment which offers accommodation for up to 7 people .This spacious well equipped ground level Apartment can accommodate up to 7 individuals if the child is under 5 years of age, (a small childs bed is available upon request ).

The property has been fully furnished in a modern style and provides English and french satellite TV channels, DVD, music centre board games and books as well as a swimming pool (shared with the owners) and terrace with barbecue facilities for outside dining

The picturesque and historical town of Lodeve is only a 10 minutes walk from the apartment and is well situtaed for exploring the Hearault.

This region is blessed with some of the most scenic countryside in France which is visual and very dramatic

The location of Lodeve is the gateway to the meditreranean and offers you a unique place to spend your holiday.Lodeve enables you the opportunity to escape and savour the rural life in France .Lodeve is situated in a wine and olive region surrounded by mountains at the foot of the Larzac plateau with breath taking views

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Herault region

The Languedoc-Roussillon is a beautiful region with a perferct cilmate for a variety of activities and lots of places to vist .

The charming town of Clermont l,Herault is (20 minutes from Lodeve ) and has a lively market on a Wednesday with local produce and buskers to entertain you while you shop

The beautiful city of Montpellier is friendly and picturesque. The historic centre is a pleasant place to linger for lunch and drinks The city is lively with theatres ,cinemas and operas (Montpellier is 55 minutes from Lodeve and is also easily reachable by local bus )

Nimes is (1hr 20minutes from Lodeve ) and is renowned for its well preserved Roman buildings

Avignon /Carcassone is (1hr and 40minutes from Lodeve ) and are renowned for their medieval architecture

Narbonne is (1hour from Lodeve) and is renowned for its military and religious architecture ,there is a market there on a Friday

Grotto De Glamousse and Saint- Guilhem-le Desert is ( 30 minutes from Lodeve ) which boasts a medieval monastery and stunning views

The Mediterranean sea is (50 minutes away from Lodeve )and can be located at Adge, Sete, Meze and Massiellian.Lac salgou beach area is 5 km from the villa .

The completion of the motor way provides Lodeve as an excellent touring base for Spain Italy and other European cities which can be reached in a few hours


Lodeve area

Lodeve is a traditional small French town unspoilt by tourism .The centre of the town has a 12th century cathedral and a museum which charts the history of Lodeve from Roman times till the present day. The town has a thriving cultural centre which is developing its reputation for its arts festivals

The town has a weekly market on a Saturday which enables visitors the opportunity to buy fresh local produce. Lodeve has a number of craft shops, supermarkets bakeries and restaurants .

Lodeve is an excellent base from which to explore the Languedoc region and further a field. The region offers excellent opportunities for water sports, climbing and other high risk sports tennis, horse riding, golf, walking, cycling, fetes, local markets and wine tasting.

Lac Salagou ( Ten minutes from Lodeve ) provides a range of activities from swimming sailing fishing kayaking and pedalos .There are numerous walking routes within the vicinity and surrounding areas and is an ideal area for walkers and climbers .Day trips from Lodeve will provide visitors with a range of activities


How to get there

Montpellier airport is 50 minutes from lodeve .There are regular flight from london gatwick with Easy jet and Air France ,

Nimes airport is 90 minuites from Lodeve , daily flights from Luton and John lennon airport ,car hire through Hertz which can be booked when making your flight through Ryan air

Bezier airport is about 50 minutes from Lodeve ,Ryan air flights are from Bristol . Car hire through Hertzs which you can book through Ryan Air when booking your flights

Car travel -The drive to Lodeve from the channel ports roughly take about 10 hrs you take the A75 motorway from Paris to Lodeve juction 51

Train travel -from the UK use Euro star to Paris then T.V.G to Montpellier car hire would be essential when booking trains

There are 2 bedrooms in the apartment .The Main bedroom has a double bed and can accommodate a small childs bed upon request .There is a large wardrobe area within this room for clothing and cases .

Bedroom 2 has 3 single beds in this room 2 of which can be be made up to a double bed .The room has a wardrobe area for clothing and cases.

The sofa bed within the living room converts into a double bed and is very comfortable.

All bed linen is supplied with a weekly change over of linen as part of the overall fee for renting the villa

Kitchen - Spacious well equipped kitchen in which to prepare meals with an electric oven, microwave, fridge ,dishwasher and washing machine

Living room - A very large spacious open plan living room area with dining table and chairs to seat 8 people
2 sofas (1 of which converts into a comfortable double bed) 1 arm chair, 1 television, DVD and
music centre , board games and books to entertain guests during thier stay.DVDs are also
avilable for hire from the owner .

Log fire (logs can be arranged for guests during the winter months) there is a charge for the logs

The bathroom is very spacious and accommodates a separate shower facility as well as a separate bath facility for guests.

The apartment supplies all towels , 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel per person ,which is changed on a weekly basis and is part of the overall fee for this self catering rental. (towels must not be used as towels for sunbathing at the pool )

The four seasons apartment also supplies a hair dryer for Guests to use .

The interior of the apartment is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and is maintained in good order throughout

The swimming pool is 8m by 4m which is shared with the owners . The pool is open from May to September

During the winter months logs are available to buy from the owner


Conditions

A booking deposit of (£100.00) pounds is required within 15 days of booking the villa through a bank transfer .This is a Non- returnable deposit . A booking contract will be sent out to you to confirm your holiday dates at the villa .

There is a (£200) refundable breakage deposit required, which is returned to you after the building and inventory has been completed .

The final payment balance with the security /damage deposit needs to be payed by bank transfer 8 weeks before your arrival.

Payment at times can be made directly to the owner if the booking is made within a certain time frame of 1 week prior to the booking

We had a wonderful 6 days at the apartment it was great to come back to relax in a wonderful spacious place after a great day of walking around the Larzac plateau We were really impressed by the accommodation and the residence itself.We found the owners very helpful .

Date of stay ;June 2008 Mr and Mrs Galbraith from Scotland Such a delightful suprise awaited us. The photographs don't do the property enough justice. An immaculately clean, well-equipped and spacious apartment with easy access to the town shops and restaurants . Beautifully decorated throughout with lots of space and a well eqquiped kitchen area. The owners were so welcoming and continued to be utterly hospitable throughout our stay .my husband and i felt priviledged to have come to know the owners .There is plenty to do in the area - from the more active water sports or hiking in the hills behind the villa to the relaxed poolside holiday.

We had a great week. The house suited us perfectly, with loads of room, well equipped and the owners were most helpful in every way.. The best bit, especially for the kids, was the pool. The difficulty was deciding whether we would spend the day at the pool or go sightseeing, as there was lots to see and do within striking distance. We'd love to go back again and we have a few places we didn't get to see that we'd like to visit. But next time we'd like to stay a bit longer!

A luxurious feel - nicely furnished with careful attention to detail by the owners. The new swimming pool was an added bonus and made it a nice place to stay when we didn't feel like exploring. We worried that the new A75 motorway would be audible, but not at all - instead a nice quiet hillside with a good view. In fact the A75 gives quick access to the coast and further inland. Lodeve is a pretty town with a great market - walkable from the apartment . Would certainly recommend.

Where to start? We had a fantastic holiday at the 4 Saisons apartment . Our family party of five covered three generations. The accommodation, facilities and equipment exceeded all our expectations, not least because we had not expected the newly opened swimming pool. It was wonderful to cool off each day after orienteering on the Larzac Plateau. Everything was fresh and clean and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the owner. We felt very well looked after and wished we had booked for another week. There are lots of places to go and sights to see within easy reach and we would like to think that we will get back there sometime to find out more about the region. The owner's first choice of local restaurants, the family-run Entre Terre et Mer, proved to be a top tip - excellent food and friendly service. We have already recommended this lovely apartment to friends.
