About the home

The villa is situated in the stunning and tranquil countryside (just outside the town of Lodeve ) and has a panoramic view of the mountains The luxury self contained spacious villa has its own front entrance private ,terrace,and secure parking.This spacious ground level half villa provides excellent self catering accommodation .Which can accommodate up to 6 individuals . A childs cot or bed is available if required

The property has a spacious combined dining area -reception area (including sofa bed ) well equipped kitchen with (washing machine,dishwater,microwave fridge,freezer etc) .The villa has been tastefully furnished in a modern style and provides English satellite TV channels and french terrestrial TV, DVD, music centre ,IPOD player docking station , board games and books for guests .

The villa rental has its own large terraced area with table and chairs for 8 people to eat out and enjoy the beautiful evening sunsets .

The villa is ideal for families ,a group of friends , walkers ,climbers and for that tranquil long weekend away from it alll .

BEDROOM .1 The Main bedroom has an en suite shower room with a sink,shower and WC .The bedroom has double bed and can accommodate a small childs bed/cot upon request .There is a large wardrobe area within this room for clothing and cases .

BEDROOM .2 This bedroom has 3 single beds in this room 2 of which can be be made up to a double bed .The room has a wardrobe area for clothing and cases.

The sofa bed within the living room converts into a double bed and is very comfortable.

The bed linen is supplied with a weekly change over of linen (saturdays at 10am ) as part of the overall fee for renting the villa

Kitchen - A spacious well equipped kitchen in which to prepare meals with an electric oven, microwave, fridge ,freezer,dishwasher and washing machine

Living room - The villa has a very large spacious open plan living room area with dining table and chairs to seat 8 people 2 sofas (1 of which converts into a comfortable double bed) 1 arm chair, 1 television,and DVD player,music centre ,IPOD player and docking station, board games and books to entertain guests during thier stay.DVDs are also avilable for hire from the owner .

Log fire (logs can be arranged for guests during the winter months) there is a charge for the logs .

The family shower room has a WC, sink and shower for guests .

The villa supplies all towels , 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel per person ,which is changed on a weekly basis and is part of the overall fee for this self catering rental. (towels must not be used as towels for sunbathing at the pool )

The 4 seasons villa also supplies a hair dryer for Guests to use .

The interior of the villa is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and is maintained in good order throughout

The villa has barbecue facilities for guests to use during thier stay ( shared with the owners )

Garden area- There are 2 small garden areas for guests to use, in addition there is a large outside covered dining area with dining table and chairs for use to all visitors again this is shared d with the owners .

The swimming pool is 8m by 4m and is 1.8m deep and is shared with the owners . The pool is open from May to September

The villa can be rented for a minimum of 3 nights during the low and mid seasons depending on the dates .

During the winter months logs are available to buy from the owner

Conditions

A booking deposit of (£200.00) pounds is required within 15 days of booking the villa through a bank transfer .This is a Non- returnable deposit . A booking contract will be sent out to you to confirm your holiday dates at the villa .

There is a (£200) refundable breakage deposit required, which is returned to you after the building and inventory has been completed .

The final payment balance with the security /damage deposit needs to be payed by bank transfer 8 weeks before your arrival.

Payment at times can be made directly to the owner if the booking is made within a certain time frame of 1 week prior to the booking

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Herault region

The Languedoc-Roussillon is a beautiful region with a perferct cilmate for a variety of activities and lots of places to vist .

The charming town of Clermont l,Herault is (20 minutes from Lodeve ) and has a lively market on a Wednesday with local produce and buskers to entertain you while you shop

The beautiful city of Montpellier is friendly and picturesque. The historic centre is a pleasant place to linger for lunch and drinks The city is lively with theatres ,cinemas and operas (Montpellier is 55 minutes from Lodeve and is also easily reachable by local bus )

Nimes is (1hr 20minutes from Lodeve ) and is renowned for its well preserved Roman buildings

Avignon /Carcassone is (1hr and 40minutes from Lodeve ) and are renowned for their medieval architecture

Narbonne is (1hour from Lodeve) and is renowned for its military and religious architecture ,there is a market there on a Friday

Grotto De Glamousse and Saint- Guilhem-le Desert is ( 30 minutes from Lodeve ) which boasts a medieval monastery and stunning views

The Mediterranean sea is (50 minutes away from Lodeve )and can be located at Adge, Sete, Meze and Massiellian.Lac salgou beach area is 5 km from the villa .

The completion of the motor way provides Lodeve as an excellent touring base for Spain Italy and other European cities which can be reached in a few hours

The Lodeve area

Lodeve is a traditional small French town unspoilt by tourism .The centre of the town has a 12th century cathedral and a museum which charts the history of Lodeve from Roman times till the present day. The town has a thriving cultural centre which is developing its reputation for its arts festivals

The region is blessed with some of the most scenic countryside in France which is very visual and very dramatic

The town has a weekly market on a Saturday which enables visitors the opportunity to buy fresh local produce. Lodeve has a number of craft shops, supermarkets bakeries and restaurants .

Lodeve is an excellent base from which to explore the Languedoc region and further a field. The region offers excellent opportunities for water sports, climbing and other high risk sports tennis, horse riding, golf, walking, cycling, fetes, local markets and wine tasting.

Lac Salagou ( Ten minutes from Lodeve )and provides a range of activities from swimming sailing fishing kayaking and pedalos .There are numerous walking routes within the vicinity and surrounding areas and is an ideal area for walkers and climbers .Day trips from Lodeve will provide visitors with a range of activities

Montpellier airport is 50 minutes from lodeve .There are regular flights from London standstead with Easy jet d Air France and Ryan air ,

Nimes airport is 80 minuites from Lodeve , regular flights from Luton and John lennon airport ,car hire through Hertz which can be booked when making your flight through Ryan air

Bezier airport is about 50 minutes from Lodeve ,Ryan air flights are from Bristol . Car hire through Hertzs which you can book through Ryan Air when booking your flights

Car travel -The drive to Lodeve from the channel ports roughly take about 10 hrs you take the A75 motorway from Paris to Lodeve juction 51

Train travel -from the UK use Euro star to Paris then T.V.G to Montpellier car hire would be essential when booking trains

“Holiday Haven” Stunning scenery in the surrounding areas of Lodeve, lots of places to visit and things to see and do. The 4 seasons villa was an ideal base to explore the area, providing a well equipped, well maintained, clean and spacious two bedroom, two bathroom accommodation, that more than met our needs for a holiday. The children (12 and 15) were ecstatic to have sky TV, an ipod station and a beautifully maintained swimming pool on site. My husband and I were happy to sit out on the terrace with a glass of wine at the end of the day, looking out over the mountains as the sun set, discussing our day of explorations within this beautiful part of France. The kitchen had everything that we required (and more). The dishwasher was an added bonus and a purchase for our kitchen back home, may well be on the cards as a result!! Lodeve town itself is unspoilt, but with good restaurants and a good supermarket, it's proximity to the motorway allows easy access to the surrounding areas, but once at the 4 seasons villa you wouldn't think a motorway was within a million miles, it is so peaceful. Favourite Places - Lac du Salagou, Milleau Bridge and St Guilhem le Desert for my husband and I. Aqualand, Montpellier and the Wednesday market at Clermont l'Herault for the children. Frank and Thomas were on hand to welcome us on arrival, for information and directions about the surrounding area and to enquire about our day on our return, but were never intrusive. There are still places in the area that we would like to explore and so we hope to be back sometime in the near future.

“Top of the bill!!!” The 4 seasons villa is such a nice and comfortable decorated apartment that you can hardly call it a 'holiday' house. We really felt at home. That is why we returned to it this year again. Together with our three daughters (14 to 19 years) we had a terrific holiday. We discovered the beautiful environment. We went to visit some places again (as Pezenas and St Guilhem le Désert, Montpellier, les grottes de Clamouses), but we did go a bit further away as well (Carcassonne, Arles, Aigues Mortes). We even made some walks (Cirque the Mourèze). As it is a rich environment, a beautiful nature, there are always new places to discover. I especially enjoyed the lovely views you have. Not only from the apartment's terrace, but everywhere you go to, or drive to. On top, Thomas and Frank are two very kind hosts. We can absolutely advice to spend your holiday there. It is top!

“The best stay to discover Langedoc” The house is beuatiful and comfortable, equiped with everything you can ever need, and very clean. Nice linens ans towers for those who appreciate comfort in details. Beautiful and clean swimming pool. The best view on the mountains from the terrace where you can have all your meals is breathtaking. The house has a nice French style garden and separate barbeque area, which is also perfectly equiped, like with a fridge to keep your drinks cool for your parties. We have been - a couple in their 30s on a romantic gateway, and for us it was the best stay in France, and we have been a lot of places to before. But the house is perfect for any kind of travelers. Special thanks to the hosts - Thomas and Frank who were always helpful, very inviting and just very nice people. I can tell a lot about surrounding places, which you can visit in Langedoc, but htis would take a big book. We are definetelly returning to stay in this Villa, whenever we decide to go to this area again.

“I can recommend this comfortable villa” A well maintained & fully equipped villa in a good location with a beautiful garden & swimming pool. A short drive to the town of Lodeve which is unspoiled but has all the facilities for a good holiday including restaurants & an excellent Super U. The owners are helpful & informative & there are many places in the immediate area that are well worth a visit. All in all a first class holiday destination.

Easy to find, a beautiful location and excellent facilities. The accommodation was immaculate and unexpected touches such as Ipod charging and Wifi kept my teenage daughters very happy. The pool was immaculately looked after (as were the gorgeous gardens) and every comfort we could have required was available - even down to sharp knives.

The 4 saisons villa is the perfect place to stay in France : a nicely decorated house, well-equipped, a beautiful garden, a lovely swimming pool ... the villa offers all comfort you can dream of of a holiday house. Our three teenager girls were very pleased with the complete multimedia equipment of the house.
The view from the terrace is excellent too. Closeby the beautiful garden, further away a nice look on the mountains. It's very quiet there as well, We absolutely recommend the villa to spend your holiday at. We'd already been to many places, and tried a lot of holiday houses, but none of them do better than this place. You won't regret it, that's for sure!
