Trullo Bellavista is set in 3 acres of land surrounded by olive and fruit trees. There are spacious outdoor private patio areas at both front and rear of the property for relaxing and dining al fresco. Built in outdoor wood burning oven and separate BBQ. Renovation completed in 2006 to a very high standard to provide superb accommodation whilst retaining original features. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool 12mt x 6mt. Sleeps up to 8 persons.

The Puglia/Molise region

Apulia is a very long region in the South of Italy on the Adriatic Coast and has a lot to offer tourists besides the beautiful sea, oil, wine and Mediterranean food. The area is surrounded by the Salento region, the Adriatic and the Ionic seas, which with their limpid waters and mixture of sand or rock beaches have something to please all tastes. One of the most famous features of the whole area is the characteristic Valle D'Itria being the most populated with Trulli. These can be found tucked inside the regions of Taranto, Brindisi and Bari. A unique sight to all visitors who pass through this area , these conical dwellings can be found in every size, shape and form. The Valle D'Itria is the capital of the Trulli and was recognized in 1996 as a U.N.E.S.C.O world heritage site, consisting of more than 10,000 trulli it really isn't a place to miss.

Locorotondo area

Locorotondo is considered to be the balcony of the Itria valley, famous for it's historic centre. From Locorotondo you are within reach of some of the beautiful towns like Martina Franca, Cisternino, Ostuni and Alberobello to name but a few. Ten minutes drive away is the Zoosafari - a theme park and theatre for a great day out for the family.Locorotondo is also famous for it's wines,restaurants, extra virgin olive oil and of course the very friendly people.Visiting Locorotondo isn't just about seeing the Trulli, it is about immersing yourself into a unique way of life and experiencing something truly unique.

How to get there

Puglia is served by two international airports- Bari and Brindisi both of which are approximately 40 mins drive from Locorotondo. Flights from the UK are with BA or Ryanair direct from London. Alitalia also fly into Bari airport. Car hire is available from both airports with Hertz, Europcar, National, Maggiore and most other major car hire companies. From Bari airport, take the Tangenziale direction Brindisi. Exit at Fasano. Take direction Taranto/Martina Franca/. You will see the sign for Locorotondo just after.
After approximately 5km, look out for the shopping centre on the left hand side called Quinto Coloure Centro Commerciale. Carry on for another 300 meters until you see the 2km sign.
Make a right turn opposite the 2km sign. Follow the road for about 250m until you can make the first right turn.
After turning right you will find Trullo Bellavista at the end of the road.

From Brindisi airport take the motorway direction Bari, exit Fasano and follow as above.

"Trullo Bellavista was super, a wonderful restoration, very well equipped and located. The kids loved the pool, the dogs loved being able to roam free instead of being cable tied all the time and we all had a great time. We will certainly be back (if you will have us) although maybe a little earlier or later in the year so that we can do more town walks (it was too hot most of the time - all we wanted to do was stay in the pool."

We had the most wonderful week at your beautiful trullo. The trullo had been prepared and was spotless for us by Maria and Filippo was very courteous and helpful. My niece adored the pool. All too often holiday homes are not quite as nice as the photos which advertise them but Trullo Bellavista surpassed expectations. Puglia too is a beautiful region, the people friendly, food and wine delicious - and very reasonable. The weather too was superb. We will certainly recommend your holiday home to any friends who expresses an interest in Puglia and hope some day to perhaps return ourselves.

"The property was great and we would book the house again if the opportunity arose. The pool was fabulous too. The setting was away from the busy road into Locorotondo and surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. We loved walking around the area in the morning before the heat set in to see the various Trulli. We loved the region and the town. Everything was very convenient, there was a super market right down the road and the property was a few kms from Locorotondo. We went to the beaches near by and to the other coast, both were really nice. We hope to return to the region some day. The owner was very helpful so were the local agents."

"Just come back from a truly fantastic holiday at Trullo Bellavista. The Trulli has been restored to an extremely high standard and is very well equipped. The villa is down small drive and has panoramic views of the local old town. It secluded yet only a short drive from the shops. The agents looking after the property were also extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist us after Alitalia lost our luggage.

Thank you so much for a fantastic holiday! Favola! It was very beautiful. The house, gardens and pool were very impressive. Clean, smart, comfortable, stylish and practical. Trully unique. It was very accessible but quiet and very private. The weather was perfect. The fig, olive and grapes in abundance; the roses and verbena flowers will all stay in our memories forever.
