Welcome to the beautiful Chateau de St Germain. This beautiful chateau rental was constructed in 1820 by the current owner’s family. The Chateau Saint Germain elegant and spacious interior, a swimming pool and beautiful views across it's lawns and 10 hectares of parkland. The Chateau Saint Germain accommodates up to 13 people in 7 luxury bedrooms (5 en-suite), the ideal starting point from which to explore/relax in this famous historical area of France.

The Loire Valley / Indre-et-Loire region

The Loire Valley's principal glory are the many glorious chateaux that stud the banks of the river Loire and its tributaries. The Loire valleys lavish palaces, castles, manoirs and their splendid gardens are among the France’s primary attractions. Some of the more popular and most visited chateaux include: Angers, Amboise, Azay-le-Rideau, Blois, Chenonceaux, Chambord, Cheverny, and Villandry. Orléans, the ancient Roman city is the region's capital, and historically one of France's major centres of learning. Interestingly in 1429, Joan of Arc won a famous victory against the invading British forces in the city who had laid siege to Orléans for several months. Southeast of Orléans is the town of Sancerre, where one of the Loire’s, and indeed France’s most famous white wines is produced. The Loire valley boasts 22 world-famous wines, Loire wines are famous for their subtlety. Some of the more illustrious Loire wines include: Sancerre, Valencay, Montlouis, Pouilly Fouisse and Vouvray. The Loire valley has wonderful cheeses Crottin de Chavignol and Sainte-Maure de Touraine, superb fish, world famous wine, eating in this quarter of France is hard to beat. The sport on offer to holiday makers in the Loire valley is first rate.

Loches area

The countryside is vast and beautiful. The Loire, with its countless chateaux, is a must for all those wishing to vacation in France at some point.

There is a golf course and tennis courts within 2km of the chateau. The medieval city of Loches is nearby.

The chateau is spacious and elegant. There is a spacious kitchen, living room, dining room and salon. There are 7 double bedrooms, 5 of which are en-suites.

In the grounds there is a swimming pool with sun loungers, table tennis table, bicycles, BBQ, terrace and woodland parks and walks.

Conditions

Security deposit: £1000. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
Linen & towels: All linen and towels are included in the rental price.
Energy costs: Included in the rental price.
End of stay cleaning: Included in the rental price.
Arrival time: 4.00pm onwards.
Departure time: 10.00am.
Pets: Pets not allowed.
Smoking: No smoking in the property.
It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
