Situated 15 kms from the medieval town of Loches( open market days on Sat/Wed mornings), 500 meters from the castle of Bridoré, 5 kms from the 9 holes "Verneuil" Golf course.
Property overlooks the country and the medieval Fortress of Bridoré.
Within easy driving are most of the major Chateaux de la Loire eg: Amboise, Blois, Chenonceaux,
Azay-le-Rideau, Chinon, Langeais. You will also find a Casino in la Roche posay (30 minutes' drive) and le Futuroscope close to Poitiers (1 hour's drive).
Your spacious and cosy cottage (90 square metres) is fully furnished with all the comfort of today and the charisma of before. Three bedrooms (6 persons in total) are available. The living area with its opened kitchen is 43 square meters with a great view of the castle of Bridoré and the country.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge, coffeemake etc. There also is a washing machine, and dryer. The place can be heated electrically, Several parking places, BBQ and private garden set are at your disposal.

The construction of the fortress of Loches is attribued to Foulques Nerra and goes back to the XIth century. 36 metres high, it is considered to be one of the most impressive keeps of the Norman period. The Gate House, the XIVth century Governor's lodge, Louis XI tower topped with its early artillery emplacements, Cardinal Balue's dungeon, the torture chamber... together with video projections and the computer generated images all combine to give you a "first hand" experience of the medieval period.
Discover the garden (medieval style) at the foot of the keep.
- the castle of Bridoré, a magnificently preserved feudal fortress. Between the lower courtyard, where the soldiers and servants were lodged, and the upper courtyard where the Lord of the manor lived, is an impressive 30-metre-high keep crowned with watchtowers.

3 hours south of Paris by highway A10 exit 23 and take the D43 direction chateauroux via Loches
the house is 55 KM from the exit and 15 km from Loches, medieval city

By train:
Paris to Tours: TGV (55 min.)
Departure: railway station of Montparnasse
Arrival: railway station of Tours or Saint pierre des corps
after it is better to rent a car

By Air
from London/Standsted: Take Ryan Air To Tours. Major car rentals are available at airport, 1 hour from tours airport
