Tucked away in the high meadows of the Highland estate of Craggantoul, Ben Lawers Rest is a charming holiday cottage with private hot tub offering panoramic views over Loch Tay and the surrounding woodland.

The luxurious two bedroom property sits at the foot of mighty Ben Lawers, the tenth highest mountain in Scotland, within the grounds of the Highland estate of Craggantoul. As well as an acre of private grounds at the property, our guests have access to some 40 acres of ancient woodland including private orchard, secluded oak forest walks, loch frontage and fishing rights.

Offering guests the ultimate in self catering, the property is luxuriously furnished and offers all the mod cons for the perfect break, including a private hot tub. The patio doors open onto a wide private decking which is perfect for BBQ's, sunbathing and taking in the fantastic scenery.

The entire location is rich in history, wildlife, activities and attractions, with water sports, walking, fishing, golf courses, castles and distilleries on the doorstep!

A charming log cabin nestled within the heart of Craggantoul Estate, Ben Lawers Rest has two spacious double en suite bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two single beds. The two bathrooms are equipped with showers and deep baths to sink into at the end of the day. The light and airy holiday cottage has neutral and contemporary furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen with all the mod cons! From the large living area, doors open onto a spacious decking area from which to enjoy the idyllic beauty of the estate, with unrivalled views over the loch and surrounding hillside. And if enjoying the views from the decking is not enough, how about soaking them in from the private hot tub in front of the cottage?

The views over the loch are breathtaking and our guests are free to wander the orchards and meadows down through the ancient oak forests past a lake and over streams to the loch where we have fishing rights for trout. The area is rich in wildlife and guests will see the deer roam freely around the grounds and the vibrant bird life on the estate. We have garden furniture and a BBQ.

“Log Cabin was fantastic!!!!!!!!” Myself and my partner went to the log cabin for 1 night on his time home from Afghanistan, when we arrived at the log cabin it was beautiful, nicely furnished and clean. There were also great views and the hot tub was amazing. We had a great nights stay at the log cabin and will definately be going back for longer on my partners return. It was a great night away to relax.

“Amazing views, extremely comfortable and one of the most relaxing places we have visited.” We spent the weekend at Ben Lawers Rest in November 2012. The accommodation is of a 5 star standard, spacious and warm. The views are quite stunning in front and behind the cabin and being set away form the rest of the complex you have complete privacy. The hot tub is amazing and adds to the luxury. We have young children and it was perfect for our family of 4. There are some great walks nearby for all levels. We walked down to loch tay through the oak wood and didn't see any other people. Again the views are spectacular. All 4 of us had baths and there was still plenty of hot water ! We will definitely return.

“Beautiful Cabin” Ben Lawers Cabin is located in a beautiful area, quiet and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the world! We arrived and were pleasantly surprised at the detail and effort put into the cabin, it had a very homely touch! We were very comfortable during our weeks stay, the hot tub was wonderful and we spent a lot of our time in there, gazing at the scenery! It was a perfect getaway and was a lovely place to stay on our first trip to Scotland. We most definitely want to return and would recommend to all who enjoy beautiful scenery, walking, wildlife and pure relaxation!

“perfect and tranquil” we had a fantastic stay at ben lawers rest and would very glady stay there again. waking up to the fabulous views every morning and the wild dear was amazing, The lodge itself was very high standard , spacious and really clean.We have two children age 4 and 7 and they loved the open space to run around and play. there is a lovely walk down to the loch tay through the woods which both children loved. Sitting in the hot tub looking at the fabulious view was an added bonus ! When we left we felt soo refreshed , I would highly reccomend ben lawers rest.

“Stunning!!” Best we have ever stayed in,will be back again soon. Great setting, views,lovely grounds.peace and quiet. Our son who is 11 loved it, You wont find much better!!!!
