Grant Cottage is a 2 bedroom (sleeps 4) detatched luxury cottage catering for all your needs. All furnishings, fittings and decoration are of a very high quality.
We have double and twin bedrooms both have very comfortable beds with high quality mattresses with beautiful quilts and throws.
A super modern bathroom with Italian tiled walls and Karndean tiled floor, a spa bath , heated towel rail and separate shower.
The open plan kitchen/diner is well equipped with all utensils.
Very relaxing lounge over looking the garden, wood burning stove (logs provided) creates a cosy setting. Solid oak floors throughout the living areas, top quality curtains and blinds.
The cottage is very private and kept immaculately clean.
We provide baby toys and accessories, pushchair, travel cot, changing mat, high chair, baby rocker plus much much more, free of charge ( please request these in advance), this will enable you to have a stress free journey.
A private parking area beside the cottage, the garden overlooks the forest and burn, a very peaceful and beautiful setting, here you can see lots of different varieties of wildlife and birds so it's a haven for wildlife enthusiasts.
The central base of the cottage makes all tourist destinations easily accessable

The Scottish Highlands has something for everyone, it is a wonderful holiday destination, you're sure to return again and again once you've been . There is so much to offer, if you're wanting an action packed adventure holiday you can go :-
Canoeing, the list is endless , or if you're wanting a relaxing peaceful holiday you can visit the remote beautiful beaches which cover the whole of the Highlands, there's spectacular mountains, waterfalls, Lochs and magnificent scenery. There are castles to explore, museums to visit and boat trips can be taken on the famous Loch Ness. Inverness is a must, this vibrant city is full of history and culture, there are many restaurants, cafe's and shops to choose from and the castle ( which is now the court house ) over looks the River Ness.
Whatever you decide to do you can be sure you'll find plenty to enjoy in the Highlands.
There are so many different things to do and places to visit around the cottage you'll be spoilt for choice. Walking, from high mountains to low land Glens you'll be sure to find a route to please everyone, you can take a different walk everyday and still be amazed by the scenery and wildlife you encounter on your travels. There's salmon fishing locally and golf at Aigas, also you can fish the Beauly river for salmon and trout, this is 20 minutes away, Beauly is a beautiful village, well worth a visit.
4 miles from the cottage you can visit Cannich/Glen Affric/Glen Strathfarrar, these places are well known for their beautiful scenery, mountains, forests, rivers and waterfalls, Plodda falls near Glen Affric is the highest and most spectacular waterfall in the area, over 40 metres high.
Drumnadrochit is 9 miles away, a lovely village on the shores of Loch Ness, here we have the Loch Ness visitor centre and for the smaller one's- Nessieland where you can learn all about Loch Ness and the' monster'. Urquhart castle is a popular visitor attraction, this was once one of Scotlands largest castles, it lies on the west shore of Loch Ness with splendid views over the Loch.
Inverness is 20 minutes from Drumnadrochit, along the shores of Loch Ness, so much to do and see here, historic buildings ,Inverness castle, this overlooks one of the most beautiful riverside settings in Britain. You can walk around Ness Islands where you can watch anglers casting long lines in River Ness in the hope of catching a salmon, or you can stroll around the shops and take in the lovely scenery whilst relaxing watching the world pass by having a coffee in one of the many cafe's on offer .
