The Central Scotland/Strathclyde region

The Trossachs national park is a national conservation area and as such has all the benefits of rural community life and outdoor attractions such as the GO APE outdoor rope climbing and abseiling forest park and only a short drive to nearby and famous outdoor zoos at Crieff and Blairdrummond. Also close by is the Breadalbane whiskey tour with buses running daily in the area.

The climate, as with the rest of Scotland, is a mixture of sunshine and rain sometimes rather unpredictable which adds to the overall charm of the highlands and giving its very verdant beauty.

Loch Lomond National Park

Every year in this area The Highland Games festivals carry on throughout the summer months in most of the small towns and villages where our young strongmen take on all comers from as far away as America and Europe in a bid to see who is Scotland Strongest man. These games are very family orientated and even allow crowd participation at some level as the Big guys slug it out with caber, hammer throwing and various mind blowing events. A must see when you visit Scotland.

The area is also well known for canoeing, cycling and both forest and mountain walking. In Stirling you can visit the famous castle or the impressive Wallace monument and folklore and museum centre.
