Loch Lomond National Park

Undoubtedly one of Scotland's biggest treasures, Loch Lomond and its surrounding countryside provides a wonderful setting for glorious walks, picnics on the beach, boat trips, fishing, sailing and kayaking. The whole area is part of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, the Queen Elizabeth Forest reaches down to the village edge, and we are situated on the world famous West Highland Way. Ben Lomond, on our doorstep, is a seriously good climb and the less strenuous Conic and Dumbling still offer breathtaking views as does Dumgoyne with the added attraction of a Distillery at its foot. Around here you'll find walks to suit all levels.

For car journeys there is nothing to beat the Dukes Pass between Aberfoyle and Calander. On the Way you will pass the David Marshall Lodge which is a forestry centre, you might also take time out for a stroll alongside Loch Katrine which offers some of the most stunning views in Scotland as well as the opportunity to take a sail on a steam ship; The Sir Walter Scott.

"A beautiful house in a beautiful location"

Spacious, well appointed accomodation in a lovely friendly village.
We were there for a family celebration and an added bonus was the piano as my uncle had not played on a quality piano for many years.

A wonderful stay, the house had everything we could want and more, kids were enterained by piano, trampoline, dvd player etc and the house was large enough for extended family not to fall over each other. Great communication from owners, they were so helpful and fast to reply to any queries. 5 minte walk to shops, pubs, swimming pool and spa. I could not recommend this cottage highly enough!
