Altskeith is a stunning country house set within scenic landscapes in the Trossachs. The house which is let on an exclusive use basis, accommodates 22 people in 10 (9 being en-suite) bedrooms.

Altskeith has a wonderful location on the shores of beautiful Loch Ard, with spectacular views of Ben Lomond. The garden is a delight, with sweeping lawns and an enchanting burn running down to a private shingle beach. Altskeith offers rights to fish on Loch Ard, along with a boat house and launching area.

Situated only three miles from Aberfoyle, in the midst of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park , Altskeith provides the perfect location for anyone looking for a large country house in The Trossachs.

The house is the perfect venue to hold large family gatherings, birthday/anniversary celebrations, special occasions, walking, fishing, water sport holidays. In addition a wedding licence allows for weddings to be held in the house or gardens. Also within the grounds is an area able to provide a large marquee reception.

Catering can be provided as an additional charge if required.

Stirlingshire is an ideal location, within 1 hour drive of both Glasgow and Edinburgh and known as "the gateway to the Highlands".

Its the perfect location for the outdoor enthusiast with an abundance of fishing, golf, water sports, walking and horse riding facilities. The city of Stirling is located about 25 miles with a wide selection of shops, cafes, bars and other facilities as well as the historic Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle.

Loch Lomond National Park

Kinlochard is situated about 4 miles outside Aberfoyle, with a stunning drive along the banks of Loch Ard, situated within the Trossachs National Park. The Park has the most picturesque and stunning countryside Scotland has to offer.

Aberfoyle offers various shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes. For outdoor enthusiasts there is a water sport centre and spa within 1 mile of the house. Also within the area there is Go Ape. The area is popular with cyclists, golfers, walkers, anglers and water sport enthusiasts. Horse riding is also available close by.
