The Honeyholm has one downstairs and two upstairs bedrooms. All have en-suite facilities with the Master suite having a full luxury bathroom with Paris balcony overlooking our gardens.
The downstairs bedroom has beautiful views of the hills and gardens. A double bed and en-suite facilities. This large shower room has easy access low level power shower with grab rails and a shower chair for clients with mobility problems.
The second bedroom has full sized twin beds. A walk in window has stunning views. An en-suite shower room provides comfort and style.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed with again a walk in window with a similar view. A spacious
en-suite bathroom has bath with separate power shower and French windows opening onto a paris balcony. Spoil yourself with a little bit of hotel luxury.
The Honeyholm downstairs has a large dining kitchen with stone floors and French windows onto our rear courtyard. The kitchen has a large electric range cooker and everything for relaxing and eating in if you choose to do so. Maybe you will catch your own dinner in the River Endrick at the bottom of the garden !!
The original stone wall of the property separates the kitchen from the large living area. A wood burning stove gives you heat and complements the natural oak flooring and slate hearth.
To the front there is a full height window with French doors opens onto your patio. With stunning views over gardens and to the hills please relax and eat outdoors surrounded by the beauty of Scotland.

The Honeyholm nestles beside the river Endrick in open countryside. There are extensive gardens back and front with lawn, planted beds and trees making it a great place to relax.
There are herb and vegetable beds as well as fresh eggs available. Children will love exploring the gardens with atree house and swing set and trampoline to burn off some energy.

The honeyholm is made up of 2 semi detached cottages.

The Central Scotland/Strathclyde region
The Honeyholm is in a countryside setting, and surrounded by the historic villages of Balfron (Home of Scotland's best 10K!!), Drymen,Kippen and Killearn. As such the villages have a rich history of Rob Roy Macgregor and have wonderful local fairs and Agricultural shows throughout the year.
The honeyholm is adjacent to Loch lomond and Trossachs National park,Queen Elizabeth Forest park and the West Highland Way passes close by through Drymem. Hill walking and cyclying,fishing and golfing are all on your doorstep.
In addition the cottage is well located for touring and access to the Historic cities of Glasgow(40 minutes), Stirling(30min) and Edinburgh(60 min).
Stirling and Edinburgh Castles are well worth a visit
Stirling city is the Gateway to the Highlands if you wish to go further afield.
Loch Lomond National Park
The honeyholm is surrounded by farms and wonderful open countryside.The Village of Balfron was birth place to Alexander Greek Thompson. One of Glasgow's famous architects of old.
The picturesque village has a full sized swimming pool and well equipped gym, Doyles deli, butchers,supermarket ,Wonderland gift and bespoke jewellery shop , Rona Smart massage and holistic therapy ,two pubs and a small array of shops.
The area has a multitude of farm Shops ,so you may sample local produce, and pubs /coffee shops if you wish to eat out.
The Balfron 10K at the end of April is very popular and the surrounding villages have an array of fares and shows on throughout the year. From the Fintry music festival to Aberfoyle's mushroom! festival, there is something for everyone.
The Drymen Show at the end of May is a highlight and the Highland Games are on throught the summer in different villages and towns.
A week may just be enough to squeeze all that in !!

"Idyllic Weekend Getaway"
I stayed at the "Honeyholm" with my husband, children and their partners and my 2 grandaughters for a 3 night weekend break to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday, The accommodation is immaculate, extremely comfortable and finished to a very high standard. The surrounding views and countryside are breathtaking and all within 40 minutes from Glasgow Airport. We were made very welcome by our hosts Julie and Ian and their children. The garden has everything that both children and adults need and there is enough parking for 8 cars as we had invited a few close friends to join us for drinks and nibbles on the Sunday afternoon. We all had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again.
