Large hall with a log burner and extensive library
Kitchen has large dining area which looks over the loch with windows on three sides
Kitchen is hand made with granite tops and dishwasher, a large Falcon range with two electric ovens and a five ring gas hob. There is also an extra fitted oven in units. Large walk in larder with upright deep freezer/microwave
Off the kitchen is very cosy snug, with large flat screen/DVD and log burner
Next to the kitchen is a large utility room with walk in drying cupboard, WC, back stairs and boiler room with a backdoor leading out into the garage
From the garage there is a staircase leading up to a huge play room with ping-pong table, large log burner and large flatscreen TV.

Six bedrooms, four with ensuite bathrooms, two with his and her wash basins. Three bedrooms have super king beds which can be split into twin beds, two twin rooms and one bedroom with three single beds. All the bedrooms have fitted shelves and wardrobes. There is also one other large family bathroom.

Ederline House has a large private garden which is mainly laid to lawn. At the back of the house there is a large patio area with garden furniture with views looking down to the loch. Rowing boats are available for guests to take out on the loch. We do have fantastic course fishing on the loch with wild brown trout fishing up on the hill lochs. There is also exceptional fishing on loch Awe.
Argyll has a stunning coastline to explore which is only fifteen minutes away and stretches over 2800 miles, longer than the coast of France.
The Hebridean Islands are easy to reach by regular ferries, from Oban, Kennacraig, Tayinloon and Claonaig, which are all under an hours drive.
The mainland and the Islands have some fantastic beaches, which will keep the children happy for hours. Private boat trips can be arranged locally to include mackeral fishing or going to visit the third largest whirlpool in the world!!
Further details
Ederline House is available for guests to stay on a Bed and Breakfast and on a weekly basis.
We would need a deposit before the guests arrival for any breakages or damage if renting on a weekly basis.
We would also need a £600 deposit to confirm a booking.
Conditions
We sadly do not allow any dogs in the house but we do provide smart sheltered dog kennels in the garage. Smoking has to be outside the house as well as the dogs!

The Loch Awe / Ford, Loch Awe area
The local area is steeped in history with a museum in Kilmartin to explain its ancient past. The village also has a shop, restaurant and a pub .There are ruined castles and chapels to explore in walking distance from the cottages with an abundance of fishing, walking, horse riding, sea trips, golf courses and water sports in the local area. We do have a smokery in the village of Ford for excellent smoked fish and restaurants only a short drive away in Crinan,Ardfern and Cairnbarn.

Follow from Glasgow the A82 to Loch Lomond and then the A83 to Inveraray and on to Lochgilphead. Then A816 north to Kilmartin. After Kilmartin continue for 2 miles and the first turn to the right is the B840 to Ford. Turn right opposite the pub in Ford still on the B840 out of village and we are the first turning on the right. Ederline Estate.
