Strae cabin is set in a secluded woodland glade over looking a babbling burn and is no more than 150 yards from the shore of beautiful Loch Awe. This charming cabin is well away from the quiet loch side road, is a comfortable distance from other cabins and is not overlooked.
Sloy cabin is in an elevated position overlooking beautiful Loch Awe. The cabin sits on extensive, secluded grounds on the loch shore and provides the perfect location to be at one with nature in a truly stunning setting. There is a wood fired hot tub available for guests use at Sloy cabin.
Both cabins have french windows opening onto raised verandas, with garden furniture. They have many charming features to give visitors a real log cabin experience.

There is a bar / restaurant adjacent to site and Cafe / shop / post office in the village.
Fishing in designated areas and anywhere on Loch Awe from a boat is permissible for all guests.

Central Scotland and the area around Edinburgh are some of Scotland's most beautiful. The area is home to the Trossocks National Park and Loch Lomond as well as the metropolitan cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. There are great courses for golfers and plenty of historical sites such as Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle and Bannockburn.
The Loch Awe area

How to get there

Directions by road:
1. From Glasgow Take the M8 towards Erskine Bridge.
2. Turn off on to the M898 and cross bridge.
3. After the Bridge turn left on to the A82 towards Loch Lomond.
4. Stay on this road until you reach Tarbet where you turn right on to the A82 towards Crianlarich.
5. At Crianlarich turn left after going under the railway bridge.
6. Just past the Green Welly Stop at Tyndrum turn left on to the A85 towards Oban.
7. Follow this road through Dalmally and along the north shore of Loch Awe.
8. Near Taynuilt Take the B845 towards Kilchrenan.
9. Go through Kilchrenan and after 7.5 miles (seems further) you will arrive at Dalavich.
10. The site is on the left hand side just before the village centre.
Approx 2 hours from Glasgow airport.
Nearest train station in Taynuilt, 14 miles.
