Villa Carla is a very large country house dating from the 16th century and beautifully restored. Once it was a olive pressing farm surrounded with extensive olive groves and vineyards. It is situated in Toirano a medieval village on the hills at 3 km from the Mediterranean sea. In summer there is a pleasant breeze and in winter the climate is friendly and temperate. The heavy wooden gate opens up to the terrace and small garden with swimming pool.( closed in winter) . The house is very spacious ( 200 m2) and has on the ground floor a living room with fireplace, TV, kitchen and dining table. The three bedrooms have each a bathroom. The house is at 5 mins from the centre of Toirano and 10 mins by car to Loano.

The North West Italy / Italian Riviera/Liguria region
Liguria is all year round holiday region. Loano / Toirano area
Toirano is an enchanting medieval town, completely surrounded by town walls, with gates, loggias, bridges. It is well known to all Italians, due to the “Grotte” as in the calcareous mountainous area caves where discovered traces of human and animal life dating back to Neolithic times, 12,000 years ago. Some 50 rooms are open to the public and are a must .
How to get there
By car from Genoa or French border, following autostrada, exit Pietra Ligure. Follow the signs to Loano. At Borghetto Santo Spirito follow the signs to Toirano . By plane to airports of Genoa, Milan or Turin, detailed instructions will be supplied.

We loved your accommodation it was so spacious and with three daughters having three bathrooms was a big plus. Hi Lucia We had a fabulous holiday. The Villa was perfect very spacious and well equipped. We felt so relaxed and the children loved the pool, we hardly left the village. Toirano village is a lovely place and we walked there most days for supplies or to take the children to the park.
