About the home

This stone cottage is between mountains and sea, with views of Trefor Pier which is frequented by divers.

The coastal path is just yards from the cottage, so walks with spectacular views are there to be enjoyed.

Within the grounds are a private lake, ponds and wetlands across Seven acres of land are set aside for wildlife. You can be sure of getting very close to wildlife in its natural habitat in ever changing lighting conditions. A photographer's and artist's dream.

The recently refurbished, Rosemary cottage, comprises of a lounge with a log burning stove, kitchen and three bedrooms, one master double bedroom with en-suite shower, another double bedroom and a third bedroom with twin beds.

The main bathroom is traditional in style with free standing bath and underfloor heating. Also a double shower room is available on the upper level, plus separate WC and hand basin on the ground floor. A utility room houses a washing machine.

With vaulted ceilings and oak beams pitch pine doors and wood burning stove, a very cosy cottage on those cooler days.

Further details outdoors:
The lake and ponds are beautiful as is the wildlife and flowers it supports but care must be taken as they have deep water and the wetlands can get boggy. This area is separated from the cottages by fences and cattle grids. This area is set aside to encourage the natural beauty and local wildlife and therefore has very little safety equipment and no safety rails. Entering this area is at your own risk and great care should be taken with children.

There is a small boat but can only be used at your own risk.

The sea is can be seen very clearly from the grounds but limited to just a few windows in Rosemary cottage. The sun sets over the sea and can be very dramatic.

Bookings are managed by our agent John Barry. He will respond to any enquiries and take you through the booking and payment process. There is no charge for this service

The cottages are rented out on a weekly basis (7 nights from Saturday 2pm to following Saturday 11am) and the charge for each week can be found on the table.
Weekend bookings may be accepted on a last minute basis or during the off peak months. All bookings less than 7 days will be charged at a daily rate. See special offers or call the main contact to get a quote

This cottage has stairs to reach the all bedrooms on the upper floor, which may limit access to guests with disabilities.

We are sorry to withdraw the acceptance of pets as it has caused problems for other guests

Advance Booking
A minimum deposit of 20% will be required to secure your cottage booking. This deposit is non-returnable and the full value will contribute towards your total rental cost. This payment can be made by:
Debit Card or Bank Transfer preferred. Also Cheque, PayPal, Chaps. Credit Cards can be accepted but there may be a small charge.

Balance Payments
Depending upon you payment method, your balance must be paid in one of the following ways:
By cheque no later than 10 days prior to the start of you holiday
By Credit Debit Card, PayPal, CHAPS, Bank Transfer no later than 5 working days prior to the start of your holiday
By Cash on arrival

Last Minute Bookings
Less than 1 week before the start of the holiday, payments in full required by Debit Card, PayPal, CHAPS, Bank Transfer or in Cash on arrival. Cheques will be accepted at the discretion of the Owner.

End of Your Stay
Please vacate the cottage by 11am on the day of our departure. You are most welcome to remain on the farm if you wish but we need to prepare the cottage for the next guest.
Deposits
We do not request any deposits for heavy cleaning. We ask our guests to please leave the cottages in a reasonable state of cleanliness and if the cooker is used extensively then please clean after use.
We do not request any deposits for breakages either. We ask our guests to pay a reasonable replacement value for any breakages or damage.

The North Wales / Snowdonia/Gwynedd region

The Lynn Peninsula and North Wales have a wonderful variety of wildlife and scenery, coastal and countryside excursions. Close to Snowdonia National Park and many other protected areas of natural beauty and wildlife sanctuaries, not least a scattering of castles and churches.

The weather can be very dramatic. Sunny and bright with clear blue skies and horizontal rain an hour later, especially in the spring and autumn. This makes for some stunning sunsets.

The Llyn Peninsula / Gyrn Goch area

Turn right out of the farm gate and 2 Minutes down the A499 you find Glynllifon Park, which grows about 3,000 rare species of trees. A great day out and something for everybody, gardens, craft workshops, cafe, steam engine (restored by Fred Dibner). This is a National Heritage site, renown for is gardens and rare trees.

There are many beautiful beaches just a few minutes westward along the coast by car. Trefor can be reached by foot. These are all listed and photographed on our own website. Arm yourself with an Ordinance Survey map to discover the footpaths and shortcuts.

Most of the pubs offer good food and a pleasant place to spend the evening.

Enter the post code LL5 or follow signs or SatNav to Trefor North Wales

When you leave the A487 to join the A499 at the small roundabout towards Trefor you are nearly there.

follow the A499 for a few miles and watch for a place called Clynnoc-Fawr then Gyrn Goch. You will see a small road off to your right (don't take it) the entrance to the the farm is 100 yards past this on you LEFT.

“Great Location, great property” Enjoyed an autumnal break at this property. Really well equipped and lovely inside. This is out of the way but still near to everywhere. Can't fault the property or the break apart from not catching a fish in the lake. But enjoyed messing about in the boat anyway.

“Beautifully tranquil” Absolutely perfect. Fantastic surroundings and cottage. Exceptionally clean and very well appointed. We will definitely return.
