From the owner

Villa Sumer is a beautiful house in its own grounds with fabulous sea views overlooking the Bay of Palma. Palma, with its magnificent Cathedral, is only a 20 minute drive for sight seeing and shopping. It is 8 minutes from Arenal´s beautiful sandy beach, full of restaurants and bars. Within walking distance (about 10 minutes walk), there are restaurants, one supermarket and shops. Villa sumer is 20 The villa has a big, modern, fully equipped kitchen with a table for 8, TV, sofa, and a patio overlooking the private pool area. The kitchen leads into a large lounge area with sofas and another TV, beyond that is the veranda that overlooks the front garden. The house has four spacious bedrooms all with air conditioning, one has an en-suite bathroom and two have a sea view. There is a separate bathroom next to the bedrooms. On the lower level there is a shower and laundry room next to a large toy room with toys and children's books. There is also wifi.

The garden around the house features a large swimming pool (9mx4.5m), BBQ, swing seat, garden furniture, basketball hoop, tennis table. There are tennis and paddle courts nearby.

Within walking distance there is a rocky sea area where you can enjoy a swim in clear, turquoise water. Villa Sumer is in a quiet residential area, in Urbanizacion Bahia Azul - (or Badia Blava) - about half a mile from shops and restaurants (10-15 minutes walk). The nearest beach at Arenal is only a 8 minutes drive away. The beach is approximately 5 km long and is lined with shops and restaurants. There are some small coves around 5 minutes drive from the house. A 25-minute drive takes you to Es Trenc beach, an unspoilt sand bank 3 kilometres long with beautiful fine white sand. Along the panoramic road to the east (a must to stop and take photos of the fabulous view from the cliffs), the "talaiots capocorb vell' prehistoric site is well worth a visit.

The house is really best suited to families who want to be based somewhere quiet (it is in a residential rather than a tourist area), and those who want to use it as a base from which to go sightseeing.

As a family home it is best suited to people who will look after the house as their own.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Carmen (the owner) a message.

If Carmen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
