About the home

This 5 star timeshare villa is operated by Marriott at The Club Son Antem. The resort offers excellent facilities incl 2 golf courses with golf academy, tennis and volleyball courts, children's club, luxury health and beauty spa and all the facilities of a 5 star hotel.

The resort offers excellent facilities, I would suggest you visit the Marriott web site (www.marriott.com and www.vacationclub) to take a tour of the resort.

I have used the Villa for the last 6 years and have had wonderful holidays there. I enjoyed staying on the Island so much that I have now bought a small apartment and therefore have all of the 6 weeks which I own available for rental.

Facilities

The villa offers daily maid service (change of towels and bed making) a mid week semi clean and a full clean at the end of each week.

The villa is well maintained and offers a fully equipped kitchen, all bedrooms have satelite TV and garden furniture is also provided. At the end of each block of houses there is a small shared pool area.

You have access to all the facilities of the hotel, two 18 hole golf courses, golf shop and golf academy, gym, a thermal spa which offers a full range of beauty treatments, outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, hairdresser, mini market, three restaurants and bars.

The hotel offers a range of activities and a Children's club.

Arrival time at the resort is 16.00 and checkout time is 10.00. The hotel however has facilities to store luggage should you arrive early / leave late.

All renters must comply with the Resort rules, these basically require guests to maintain an appropraite level of behaviour that will not cause disturbance or annoyance to other resort guests

Any special requests should be advised at the time of booking. I will pass on any special requests / needs to the resort

The resort has special facilities for disabled guests and a request can be made for these villas. If you require a villa with a downstairs bedroom this can also be requested.

Cots can also be requested.

The Mallorca/Majorca region

Mallorca is a wonderful Island, a land of contrast from the busy resorts of the South West to the rural areas of the interior.

Llucmajor is a traditional Mallorcan town which offers a a wide range of shops and a weekly market.

Mallorca has a wide range of excellent restaurants and I will happily give you a list of my recommendations.

The Llucmajor / Son Antem area

The resort offers a bus service (charge) to both Palma and the beach at Playa de Palma.

The hotel is situated just off the new motorway from Palma to Llucmajor. The whole island is within easy reach.If you plan to leave the resort, I would recommend you rent a car at the airport however many people choose to spend their entire stay enjoying the varied facilities of the resort.

Mallorca has excellent air links with the whole of Europe. Budget airlines (Thomson, Easyjet, Air Berlin etc) offer fast and reasonable flights from the majority of UK airports. If you prefer to drive the island has a wide variety of ferry links with mainland Spain.
