All structured in one floor looks very pretty and it is surrounded by its own private garden full of plants very well maintained by the owner. Its own private pool is one of its main features with shallow end perfect for the children. The outdoor furniture will enable you to dine al fresco. It is located in a quiet and peaceful area and very close to Llucmajor with all amenities: excellent restaurants for eating out, street market 2- 3 times a week, sports centre, shops, supermarkets, etc. S'Arenal and Sa Rapita are the nearest beaches, only 10 min to Son Antem Golf Resort, 15 min to Aqualand and, 30 min to Palma. Our Villa is perfect for families with children, golf players, winter sunny getaways and for those who like cycling, walking and hiking.

Change over day is flexible and shorter or longer breaks by arrangement.
The price includes:
- Linen and towels (sorry, beach towels are not supplied)
- Two cleanings of the apartment: one thorough cleaning before your arrival, and another after your departure. For 2 weeks stays or longer there will be a cleaning and change of linen/towels at the end of each week included in the price.
- The owner will be available 24 hours.
- Electricity, water supply and heating.
Payment conditions:
- We require a 20% non refundable deposit for the booking.
- The balance will be due 6 weeks before arrival to the apartment and a deposit of 200 euros will be required with your final payment.
- The 200 euros deposit will be refunded by bank transfer once the keys have been returned and the apartment checked for breakages.

Mallorca lies in the Mediterranean Sea off the south east coast of mainland Spain. Flying time from most UK airports is around 2 - 2.1/2 hours and on arrival local time is one hour ahead of Greenwich Time. Son Sant Joan, which is the main airport, is a large modern facility, and is located in the south of the island just outside the capital Palma. Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands and has something to offer everyone.
The capital Palma is a historical port town, with great shopping, museums and art galleries which are well worth visiting. Palma is the only real city of the Balearics yet its slow pace of life is quite distinct from the Spanish city's of the mainland. The centrepiece of its beautiful historic quarter with grand Renaissance mansions and Baroque churches is its Gothic cathedral which took over 500 years to build and as an attraction compares favourably with the better known cathedrals of Spain.
The island of Mallorca has outstanding beaches along all of its coastline. And with over 300 days of sunshine a year you can't go far wrong in choosing this island paradise for your beach holiday destination.
Sierra of Tramuntana: standing at 1445 metres above sea level, Puig Mayor is the highest point in Mallorca. A day spent driving down the northwest coast from Pollenca to Andratx is simply stunning with notable stops at Sa Calobra where you must follow a coastal path through tunnels in the cliffs to the amazing limestone gorge at Torrente de Pareis. You must also visit the village of Deia which has long been known as an artist's hang out where the likes of the poet Robert Graves and the artist Joan Miró resided.
A great day out from Palma is to take the train to Soller. This narrow gauge train has covered this route through the Serra de Tramuntana mountains since 1912. The one-hour trip leaves Palma from the rail station in Cala Eusebi Estada near the Plaça de Espanya. The journey is beautiful as the vintage train goes through some stunning countryside. On arrival in Soller you can get on Mallorca's first electric tram which will transport you at a snail's pace to the Port of Soller 5km away.
Mallorca has some spectacular caves at various locations around the island. Probably the most spectacular are the Caves of Drach (Coves del Drach) at Portocristo. Two other impressive cave are the Caves of Hams and the Caves of Arta.
In 1838 Frederic Chopin and George Sand arrived in Mallorca to continue their love affair in the idyllic town of Valldemossa in the Tramuntana mountains just 18km from Palma. Today in Valdemossa you can still buy the book "Winter in Mallorca" which George Sand wrote there.
Marineland is one of Mallorca's most popular tourist attractions and is the only amusement park in the Balearic islands to feature performing dolphins and sea lions.
There are so many wonderful attractions in Mallorca that there is sure to be something for everyone to see. With a total of 400 kilometres the municipality of Llucmajor offers the most important bicycle network of Mallorca. The mentioned routes run as much by the interior as bordering the coast of Llucmajor. In our city, you can admire several façades that belong to buildings with character and have been constructed at the beginning of the XXth century in the architectonic style of the moment. Among them we emphasized: "Ca Ses Xilenes", "Café Colón", "Hotel Espanya", "Bar Tabú", "La Caixa".

The Llucmajor Fairs are among Mallorca´s oldest and most important events. The first takes place on September 29 (the feast day of San Miguel, the city's patron saint) and a series of other fairs which specialise in traditional products and feature an extensive programme of entertaining and cultural activities are held on the following three Sundays. The event known as la Darrera Fira (the Last Fair) falls on the last Sunday and attracts a large number of stands and crowds of visitors. The fair season comes to a close with the Firó festivities on the Monday after the Last Fair.

Palma airport is where you will normally fly into. This is a 20 minute drive from the Villa. Car hire can be organised from the airport or Llucmajor. There are many taxis once at the airport and the average cost of a taxi to Llucmajor for 4 people is 30 Euros. Assistance with transfers to and from the airport will be given if required.

Pros:- Villa itself nicely laid out,a bit like house sitting for a friend rather than a rental property. Good country situation. LLucmajor only 5mins up the road, plenty of supermarkets and places to eat. Loads of space even for 8 people. Swimming pool and patio nicely secluded by cropped conifer trees. Lots of sunbeds [with no towels on them!!]. nice big BBQ. Paco's 2 big alsatian dogs were really friendly, and quiet [only barked when aggravated by bloodhounds next door] Cons:- All the properties nearby seemed to have dogs that are quiet during the heat of the day, and then go bananas in the early hours of the morning, mostly caused by people having late gatherings. Villa could do with air-con, as temps were around 40c Response: Dear guests, Thanks for all your positive comments. Sorry for the trouble caused by the barking of the dogs. I would like to explain that we have 2 dogs located in a separate area of the property. They are secluded to a fenced area. They have plenty of space to move and are fed by the owner everyday. Guests do not really have to have any contact with the dogs what so ever if they don't wish to. Up till now this fence was quite close to the neighbour's dogs but, we are altering this and moving the fence away from these other dogs. This will result in almost certainly no barking. We are also considering the installation of air conditioning units in the house. However, I must say 40 degrees temperatures are very unusual in this part or Majorca. This summer has been especially hot, one of the hottest summers in the last several years!! The house keeps very cool inside even in the summer since it was very well built and it is a very good quality construction. I also would like to point out that we have towels to use in the pool available to our guests at any time. |
