About the home

Sandy Villa is located just ten minutes’ walk from the beach of Cala Canyelles, on the residential area of the park who has the same name as the beach. Quiet, peaceful and very green, yet only fifteen minutes walk from the larger resorts such as Lloret de Mar, the villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

The villa benefits from its own private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious terrace with BBQ and there is a terrace with stunning sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and one twin bedroom, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

For wheelchair users, there are 3 steps from the street to the main terrace and the house. The bedrooms, kitchen, livingroom etc. is all in one level.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region

Catalonien has its own identity and culture. The Catalan country side is rugged with a romantic coast surrounded by pine woods and lovely bays of fine sand. It enjoys a mediterranean climate.Proud of its artistic heritage the area was home to artists like Miro, Gaudi and Dali.

Barcelona itself is a feast of culture and architecture from the mellow atmosphere of Las Ramblas to the modernised waterfront.

The Pyrenees, on the french border (approx. 150km) with the well known country of Andorra (duty free) as also a point of interest .

The Lloret de Mar / Canyelles area

Cala Canyelles is one of the most beautiful areas of the Costa Brava, situated 2 km north of Lloret de Mar (with plenty of night life) and 6 km south of the charming Tossa de Mar . The coastal villages, some of them with a long fishing tradition, like Tossa de Mar or Blanes offered a lot of excellent fish restaurants to choose from.

Lovely house. We enjoyed fantastic days by golfen and swimming. We see next year. Couples Andrew and Sean.

We were on March there and enjoyed fantastic weather. The house was very comfortable and sunny. We were in the swimming pool for several times. Lovely. John and Anne.
