The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
On the beautiful, wild shore of the Costa Brava are still many authentique villages. Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar are good examples. The Costa Brava area has a lot to offer; sandy beaches, hidden bay sides, lots of watersport events, golf courses, other recreational activities and of course lots of historical and cultural sites (Girona, Barcelona, Dali Museum in Figueras).
The back country is also worth visiting; picturesque villages with their traditional events, nice hiking possibilities and old monasteries.
The whole year through this part of the country is an excellent place to stay!
Lloret de Mar / Masies de Lloret area
Masias de Lloret is an urbansiation with large plots, so each house has enough space to secure privacy and tranquility.
Just at a 10 minute drive from your residence you find the famous "Waterworld" waterpark a must for kids of all ages!
At only 15 minutes ride you find a 9 hole golfcourse and a little further a beautiful monisteri called san Pere Del Bosc is to be found in the midst of a forrest (nice hiking area!). Here you can wine and dine in a exclusive way! With very nice panoramic views towards Lloret de Mar and sealine.
The centre of Lloret (at 5 km.) is famous, especially by youngsters, for the nightlife and shopping facilities.
Appr. 8 km. away, when driving down a scenic road, the historical town of Tossa de Mar can be found; famous for it's beautiful old part "Vila Vella", small family beach and fishingboats.
Blanes (8 km.) has a little harbour and fishmarket area. Nice fish restaurants and small cafes are there to be discovered! In the last week of July great fireworks are there to be admired.
If a cloudy day appears the city of Girona (35 km.) is a beautiful place to visit with it's cathedrall and old town. Many (international) students make the city a lively place to visit with lots of bars and restaurants.
Barcelona, however, is a must to see even if it is for only 1 day. If you take the scenic route by train (starting from Blanes), going along the shoreline, you walk onto the "Ramblas" within app.1 hour and one can even have a drink or two without worries! Tip: take a red or blue bus tour and visit all Gaudi attractions plus the soccerstadium of the Barcelona Team.
ps. Just staying home near the pool is no punishment either!

Further details indoors: On the ground floor: Hallway. The living/dining room, with fireplace, satellite TV, DVD and stereo set, opens to the terrace. A fully equipped, open kitchen and a scullery with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The bathroom with bathtub, separate shower and toilet. Two bedrooms with double beds. A stone stairways lead to the 1st floor where you find a 2nd bathroom with shower and toilet, two bedrooms ( with double beds). These bedrooms open to a balcony with splendid views to the seaside and the green hills. The house is centrally heated (oil), has charming outside lights and enough space for 5 cars on the almost completely fenced property.

Conditions
A refundable breakage deposit of euro 500,-- is required on arrival. Swimming pool service is included. Maximum of 2 pets (dogs) are allowed; euro 20,-- per pet per week. The owner has the right to refuse groups of youngsters under 25 years old. To secure your booking a 50% downpayment is required after booking, the other half of the amount is to be paid 30 days before the arrival date.
