La Ginesta is a spacious and fully air conditioned property with a private pool set in its own grounds. Overlooking a peacefull forest yet only 15 minutes from the coast. Set in a residential area just 5 minutes off the main Barcelona/Girona road, it has excellent connections to both cities that offer a wealth of architecture and attractions, not to mention, most of the Costa Brava and even the Pyrenees with their stunning views can be made in a day trip.

The moment you enter, you will realise that this is truly a family home, with conveniences such as off road parking and a secure garage for your use. A welcome pack and bottle of Cava are provided to help you get into the holiday mood. The pool 8m x 4m and 0.8m to 1.9m in depth has underwater lighting. La Ginesta is extensively equipped and we hope, has all the home comforts necessary to make your stay as pleasurable as can be.

Lloret de Mar / Macanet de la Selva area

The locals here are very proud of their produce and culinary expertise and call the local village of Vidreres, the Villa Gastronomica. Consequently restaurants have very high standards. The villages of Maçanet, Vidreres and Tordera (10 mins) offer good selection of shops, banks, restaurants and street markets on various days. Many activities from water sports, golf, go-karting, botanical gardens and a great night life can be found locally.

How to get there

Girona airport (20 Mins)with low budget airlines such as Ryanair.

Barcelona airport (1 hour from the villa). Served by many airlines i.e. BA, Easyjet, Iberia, etc.

About 1 hour south of the French border take exit 9 off Motorway A7 (E15).
