Villa Gaudí is located in a quiet street in the urbanization of La Riviera near Lloret de Mar, just above Villa Dalí. This very spacious villa has beautiful sea views and is nicely decorated with modern and functional interiors.
From the large terrace with a stone bbq, private swimming pool and sun loungers, you'll enjoy the astonishing views of the Mediterranean Sea!
At ground level there are 3 double bedrooms with skylight windows and a large bathroom. Also a spacious TV/Play area for the children with a 51 inch TV with 5.1 dolby surround system and a multimedia hard disc with aprox. 300 movies (mostly in English) with a large selection of children (Disney) movies, action, thrillers, comedies, etc.
On the first floor, there's the large open kitchen, living room, tv-area with international channels, bathroom and access to the terrace and swimming pool. Washing room with washing machine, iron & board and second fridge. On the second floor, there are 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, both with shower+large bath tub.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia/Barcelona region
The Costa Brava (rough coast) starts in Blanes and runs up north to the French border.
Villa Gaudi is located in the quiet residential bay of La Riviera in Lloret de Mar. Very nice views of Lloret and the Mediterranean. In 10 minutes by car you arrive to the beach of Canyelles and Lloret de Mar. Tossa and Blanes are a 15 minute drive.
The Lloret de Mar / La Riviera area
Lloret de Mar lies at the heart of the Costa Brava and is one of Spain's trendiest resorts. The beach here consists of coarse, golden sand and shingle and shelves steeply into the sea. The beach offers windsurfing and sailing in the summer months. The beautiful seafront promenade is lined with tall palm trees.

Lloret de Mar is located 70 kms north of Barcelona and 45 kms from Girona.
Girona airport, a mayor Ryanair destination is a 30 minute drive. Barcelona airport is 70 minutes.
Blanes (10min from Lloret) has a train station with direct links to Barcelona Centre and the airport.

Villa Gaudi really is a beautiful house with the most stunning views. We stayed there in the last week of August 2012 with our family and had a lovely holiday. The house is well equipped for lots of people, there was only 6 of us and the house can easily sleep and cater for 12. It was spottlessly clean when we arrived. It was quite difficult to find in the dark, thanks goodness for Sat Nav ! The pool was quite deep even at the shallow end but it was a good size for the 6 of us. The agents were on hand whenever needed and were very helpful. I would reccomend that if you can, pick up some groceries on the way to the Villa as there is nothing there when you arrive so you would need to go back out and as we arrived so late at night everything was closed. Tthere are supermarkets a short drive away which are open till around 9 at night. The views from the poolside are lovely both into the treetops and hills and out to sea. All in all I would most definitely reccomend this villa as a beautiful, tranquil and relaxing place to stay. |
