The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
Costa Brava is known as the wild coast of Spain for it´s unspoilt beauty and lovely picturesque villages with many local traditions. The area has many attractions. Sandy beaches,rugged coastline, many hidden bays and beautiful countryside are but a few. Whether you enjoy sunbathing, hiking or water sports this area has the lot. The house is also near to many cultural and historic attractions. Barcelona is 65 minutes away by car, The Dali Museum can be found 40 minutes up the coast near to Figueres. Girona is another great place to visit and only 25 minutes away.
The weather whilst hot and sunny does have seasons and is why the countryside is so green and attractive.
Lloret de Mar / Masies de Lloret area
Casa del Senglar is set in rustic land of approx 5600m2 situated in the hills above Lloret de Mar which is a 15 minute drive away. A car is essential to stay in this idyllic location which is perfect for either a lively entertaining or relaxing holiday. The choice is yours. With it´s 10 x 4 m solar heated swimming pool, table tennis facility and other amenities you might not want to venture out.
However if you do then the coastal town of Blanes is 20 minutes away and is host every year to the world fireworks competition in the last week of July. The large water park ´Water World´is a 10 minute drive away as is the lively resort of Lloret de Mar where you will find many restaurants and bars to cater for all sorts of food and drink. Do venture outside of the towns though to find many good restaurants where the food is very good, plentiful and reasonably priced. Full details will be included in the welcome pack on arrival at your destination as will other places of interest to visit.
How to get there
Fly to Girona - just 25 minutes from the airport. Cheap flights available with Ryanair.co.uk. Car hire is essential. Best rates for car hire are by booking on internet.

Further details indoors: The interior of this property is spacious at 270 sq m and very cool and inviting in the long hot summer months. Whilst the property is ideally suited for 8 adults there is capacity in the two twin rooms to put up a further comfortable single sofa bed so that each room can provide sleeping facilites for 3 children. There is also a travel cot which can be placed in the second double bedroom. It is therefore ideal for 2 families with a maximum of 6 young children and 1 baby.
Further details outdoors: There is a 3 piece cane furniture suite on the porch in front of the swimming pool and a garden swing bench by the pool. 2 Tables with outdoor seating for 10 people can also be found on the terrace for al fresco dining.Further features to be found outside include table tennis and trampoline. The swimming pool is 10m x 4m with underwater lighting and there are 8 sun loungers. However the pool is not fenced in and families with young children will need to be vigilant at all times.

The swimming pool is normally only available between April and October
Whilst there are plenty of terraced areas to relax and play on the garden itself is still undergoing work and some care will need to be exercised here although children love to explore it.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm booking
A refundable breakages/damage deposit of €1000 is required to be paid with final payment which is due 8 weeks prior to commencement of let. This deposit will be repaid within 10 days less any costs.
