Whether your visit to this part of Spain be to Relax, for House Hunting, Sightseeing, Motor Bike Racing at Cheste, the new Valencia European Grand Prix Street Circuit, the best Fiesta's in Spain "Las Falles" in March and the messy "La Tomatina" the last wednesday in August and hopefully following great success in 2007 the "America's Cup" returns to Valencia and concludes in 2009 all are within a short drive from here, our accommodation could be just what you are looking for.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region
Valencia is Spain's third largest City, famous for Paella as well as one of the best festivals in the world, 'Las Falles'. Also home to 'The America's Cup' until 2009 (should the ongoing court case permit). This city has everything that anyone could wish for, History, superb Bars, Restaurants, Night Clubs and Beaches. The blend of architecture is quite incredible, old churches and buildings alike blend perfectly with the modern day concrete buildings such as the City of Arts and Sciences; a testament to modern building methods. The City is flanked on the east side by the old Turia riverbed, diverted some fifty years ago after serious flooding, which is now a walkway with Fountains, Bars, Gardens, Seating Areas, Floodlit Football Pitches and play areas for children. If you wish you can also hire bicycles here. Restaurants in the city cater for all tastes, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican and so on. There is also a selection of Irish bars, surprisingly full of Spanish people enjoying that pint of Guinness or Murphy's Red.
Lliria area
Casa Julianna is located just outside the town of Lliria, which is the largest town in the Turia Valley, it is home to two music colleges which is why it is known as the City of Music. Lliria, originally known as Edeta, was built by the Iberians about 4th century BC. These days it is overlooked by the Monesterio De San Miguel, built about 400 years ago, local tradition has it that it houses a feather from the wings of the Archangel Gabriel. The views from here are spectacular both day and night and well worth a visit.
During the day Lliria is the same as any real Spanish town with people going about their daily business, either stopping for a chat in the street or in one of the many Bars Cafe's/Restaurant's that are in abundance here. If you are driving don't be surprised if the car in front of you stops in the middle of the road so that the driver can talk to that long lost friend or relative that hasn't been seen in donkey's years or even the previous day (words like manana or tranquilo spring to mind).
Casa Julianna is ideally situated. With a fantastic network of roads and the Metro station you can be where ever you want to be, in no time at all. Sight seeing on weekdays is a real pleasure. Drive to somewhere like El Garbie for its spectacular views, or the Dam at Old Loringuilla to relax or to fish, take a boat ride at La Albufara a huge fresh water lagoon separated from the sea by a narrow strip of sand dunes and pine forests, a protected area and sanctuary for migrating birds, and you will probably find you are the only person there.
How to get there
You can fly here with budget airlines such as Ryanair, Easyjet and Thomsonfly.
Car hire is available with companies such as Avis, Hertz and Centauro.
