The villa consists of 7 bedrooms in the main house, which comfortably sleeps 14. Below the property there is a further self contained apartment with 2 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and shower room, which can be let at an additional cost. Ideal if you are thinking of taking parents or grandparents along!

New to let and fully refurbished this year, the villa stands in a private garden with large BBQ area and private pool.The villa is situated in a quiet, rural area with stunning views but is only a stones throw from everything you could want, making it a perfect base for a relaxing, family holiday. It is however essential that you hire a car for a stay at this property to fully appreciate the surrounding countryside and amenities. There are no shops within walking distance to the property.

There is an additional apartment available. If you decide you would like to rent the apartment below you will benefit from: 2 further single bedrooms, lounge/diner, fully equipped kitchen, shower room with toilet and sink.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region

VALENCIA
Valencia is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city on the Mediterranean coast. It is Spain’s 3rd largest city, surrounded by orange orchards and sandy beaches. The city enjoys year round sunshine, which along with the Mediterranean character of the people, the cuisine, the wealth of historical culture, exceptional geographical location, and not to be forgotten famous nightlife, makes this an ideal choice of holiday destination.

FIESTAS
Every town has it’s own annual fiestas, and no matter what time of year you visit you are bound to stumble upon one. Lliria and Marines have their fair share of these and I would highly recommend watching one if you get the chance. Two of the most famous fiestas are La Tomatina and Las Fallas.

Tomatina - This takes place in the nearby town of Buñol . It is a tomato fight festival which takes place each year towards the end of August. Tens of thousands of participants come from all over the world to fight in a battle where more than 100 tonnes of tomatoes are thrown in the streets. The week long festival features music, parades, fireworks and dancing.

Las Fallas - This is undoubtedly one of the most unique and crazy festivals in Spain (a country known for unique and crazy festivals). This is a week long fiesta that takes place each year in March. The main focus is the creation and destruction of Niñots – huge statues that are placed at over 350 points in the city and in each surrounding town, including Lliria. The niñots remain in place until midnight on the 19th, when La Cremà takes place. At the stroke of midnight the niñots are set on fire to the chants of the crowds and a spectacular firework display begins.

There are a number of other activities that take place during the week building up to La Cremà. Check out one of the many bullfights or there are parades and paella contests all around the city. Firework displays occur everywhere and another highlight is the daily Mascletà which takes place at 2.00 in the Plaza Ayuntamiento when a huge pile of firecrackers are ignited and the ground literally shakes for the next 10 minutes.

SPORTS
For sports fans Valencia hosts some of the best sporting venues in Europe. We have our own International football team of course (with a new stadium to be constructed shortly)
There are numerous championship golf courses including El Saler and El Bosque, that are only a short drive away.

A large number of watersports are available, with Valencia of course hosting the 2007 Americas Cup.
In August 2008 the new Formula 1 race track is set to be completed, although the already world famous track at Cheste is only a short drive away.


Lliria / Marines area

Surrounding Area:

The villa is only 5 minutes drive away from the pretty village of Marines, which boasts a number of shops, bars, banks and a small Saturday market.

A further 10 minutes and you are in the bustling town of Lliria, an ancient traditional Spanish town with all the amenities you would expect, such as bars, restaurants, shops, market etc. It is situated about 25mins drive from Valencia with the beaches being around the same distance. Lliria is well served by both road and by Metro.

Fly direct to Valencia airport. Travel 15 minutes along the CV35. The villa is located a further 15 minutes on the outskirts of Lliria. (Detailed directions will be provided prior to arrival)

The Villa

The entrance leads directly into the spacious, open plan lounge which is equipped with TV, DVD and a CD player.
The lounge leads onto a shaded terrace, where you can enjoy “al fresco dining”, although inside the lounge there is also a dining table and seating for those chillier evenings.
There is a wood burner for those colder months and more importantly an Air Conditioning Unit for those hot summer days.
The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave and gas cooker. There is also a breakfast bar with stools for extra seating.
Downstairs consists of : Two double bedrooms, each with a double bed and wardrobes.
Two single bedrooms with single bed and wardrobe.
One twin room with two single beds and fitted wardrobe.
Upstairs consists of: One twin room with two single beds and wardrobe.
One large room with four single beds and wardrobe.

At the side of the house there is a BBQ area with an outside kitchen which has a sink, further fridge freezer and a washing machine.
Behind the kitchen there is a bathroom which is fully tiled with toilet, sink and open plan shower. Perfect for the children!
Next to the BBQ area there are dining tables and chairs.
There is a patio next to the pool and a secluded garden, ideal for relaxing and sunbathing.
Parking facilities are within the gated garden.
