Cottage | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 6
This is a charming detached property in a secluded position overlooking an enclosed garden on one side and lovely woodlands on the other. The cottage is ideal for couples, but can sleep 6 comfortably.
The large sitting room with its original terracotta tiled floor is furnished in a pretty cottage style, and has a wood burner with logs supplied free of charge.
The cottage has a small galley-type kitchen with all mod cons, including a Neff oven and hob, integrated dishwasher, washing machine & dryer, microwave, electric-whisk, kettle, toaster & fridge-freezer.
Upstairs the main bedroom has a pretty French upholstered bed and looks out over a large herbaceous flowerbed. The twin-bedroom overlooks the mature beech trees, carpeted with bluebells in April and May. The upstairs bathroom has a lovely cast iron bath and original tiles. Downstairs is a double bedroom with zip and link beds that can be made up as a king size or left as single beds. There is an additional bathroom on the groundfloor which has an electric shower, basin with shaving point and toilet.
You have your own cottage garden to enjoy, packed with wildflowers and surrounded by clipped beech and box hedges. The large lawns are ideal for football, badminton and sunbathing!
The house is centrally heated and logs are supplied free of charge. Freshly laundered bed linen is provided and beds are made up prior to arrival. Kitchen towels are supplied and electricity is included in the price. Cots and high chairs are available by arrangement as are personal towels at £5 per person.
We are currently in the process of updating our internet facilities but in the mean time wifi is available from the nearby office building exclusively for us by guests. As we are in a very rural location we do advise that internet connection can sometimes be intermittent.
Pets are welcome - provided dogs are kept on a lead.
The garden has a picnic table and a barbecue.
A local produce hamper, with provisions for a full English breakfast for the duration of your stay is available for £25.
Home-made meals can also be sourced from our farm shop.
The house is available as of 4 pm on the Friday. We kindly ask guests to vacate by 10 am on the morning of departure.

About this location
The Gwynedd region
Plas Glasfryn is a beautiful mansion house situated in the Llyn Peninsula. For generations this has been the home of the Williams-Ellis family.
In 1994, Jonathan and Helen Williams-Ellis began to develop Glasfryn Activity Park, which is now one of Wales' best family attractions.
All five cottages are situated on the estate and each have their own private gardens tended by Tilly Jones, the gardener with a little help from her Scottie dog, Huxley.
We're great dog lovers here at Glasfryn and welcome guests who want to bring their pets with them on holiday.
All five Glasfryn cottages are situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The magnificent landscape of Snowdonia and the coastline of Cardigan Bay are easily accessible, so whether it's a day on the beach or a hike to a magical waterfall, the choice is yours.
The Llyn Peninsula is a wild landscape of unspoilt natural scenery, ringed by a stunning coastline. This is great walking country and in its entirety the Llyn Coastal Path is 146km or 84 miles long, extending from Caernarfon along the north Llyn coast to Uwchmynydd and then to Porthmadog. The scenery is varied: small coves and wide expanses of sand, rugged cliffs and ever changing seas.
From Glasfryn, the walk to the iron age hill fort of Tre'r Ceiri is less than a 10 minute drive away. Another enchanting spot is St Cybi's well, a healing well of immense charm and atmosphere.
Access is easy to the sandy beaches and rocky inlets of the Peninsula (again a 10 minute hop in the car).
The small market town of Pwllheli with its award winning marina & blue flag beach is 4 miles away. There are shops, cafes and restaurants aplenty plus a cinema, public library and leisure centre. Abersoch is 10 miles away and Criccieth, Porthmadog, Aberdaron and Nefyn are all within easy reach.
There are numerous historic and scenic attractions such as the Snowdonia National Park, Ffestiniog Steam Railway, Welsh Highland Steam Railway, Caernarfon, Criccieth and Harlech Castles and the Italianate village of Portmeirion designed by Clough Williams-Ellis, a family forebear.
