"Ideally located to explore mid wales - fully functional home from home"

Arrived in the dark of night to find the Bungalow warm and tidy, very clean and well equipped.
Soon settled in with the fire roaring and a glass of complementary wine. After a good nights sleep we were soon on the road exploring Wales helped by the mass of leaflets in the hall.
Builth Wells was delightful, great riverside walks, friendly pubs. Llandrindod Wells has a delightful lake Which is ideal for a short walk but the town did not have the same appeal as Builth Wells. Although the Bell at Llanyre was recommended it was fully booked when we enquired, but this did us a favour as we discovered 'The Gwystre Inn' 2 excellent meals, steak and home made Lasagne and lovely fresh Sunday lunch the following day - massive choice of food on the menu, something for all tastes. Weekend rounded off with a spectacular day around the snow capped Elan Valley. Ruth made us very welcome providing everything you need, even coffee, tea, sugar and fresh milk in the fridge. Super Weekend break, comfortable, warm, plenty of hot water, peace and quiet.

Thank you for posting such a positive review of Gwynfan Bungalow. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay. Yes - we do have some lovely local pubs with beautiful food on our doorstep. We look forward to seeing you again sometime in the future
Thanks Ruth

Thank you for your comments, I'm sorry about the flies, but with the unusual extreme weather temperatures (hotter than "Ibiza" during your stay), I'm afraid this was out of my control, and caused a nuisance throughout the area and not just at the bungalow. The wifi was checked and working correctly before and after your stay, I wish you had asked me, as I live closeby.

"Excellent, clean, spacious and comfortable accomodation."

An excellent holiday bungalow, very spacious and well decorated with comfortable furnishings. We had a great holiday in this lovely bungalow which is in a quiet location but easily accessible. Very close to Llandrindod Wells but still feels secluded. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, and provided a welcome pack with tea, coffee, welshcakes and wine. The beds were very comfortable and there was loads of wardrobe space. A good kitchen with plenty of utensils and crockery, and a very large lounge with reclining leather sofas, luxury!.Everything was spotlessly clean. There were beautiful views and lots of bird and wildlife, walking straight from the door, and cycling and horse riding nearby. Wifi was also available. The garage made an excellent large space for storage or wet boots etc. We had a very comfortable relaxing stay and would recommend this property very highly.

Thank you for your excellent review. It is our policy to provide you with a high standard of accommodation during your stay. Our aim is to make sure that your holiday is a memorable one and that you may consider staying with us again in the future.
Thanks Ruth

"Great location, great views, very comfortable stay"

We spent 8 nights at this lovely farm house. Very comfortable, large family home with all the appointments needed for a great holiday. Fabulous views from the kitchen, dining and lounge room. Wifi worked a treat. Big garage - great for leaving the muddy boots.

We would have liked GPS coordinates please as we were travelling in this area for the first time. Owner was lovely. Perfect holiday cottage for walkers like us. We loved our stay here and didn't want to leave.

"definitely worth repeating!"

Just enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks in this spacious, well equipped and very comfortable bungalow.
It began with a warm welcome at the door by Ruth, and inside a further welcoming touch: wine, fresh flowers, welsh cakes and milk in the fridge!
The bungalow was clean with high standard accommodation, with easy access to wheelchairs.
Also there were beautiful views of rolling hills to be seen from all the windows. Superb for bird watching!
Very accommodating to all family needs - for our youngest there were plenty of puzzles and games, and DVDs for young and old to choose from, and internet - very attractive for our teenagers.
This is the perfect spot to relax.
But also very central, villages nearby and a large Tesco, always handy.
