The Old Barn is a lovely stone built barn conversion just outside Crugybar. This wonderful Welsh cottage has many original features and is full of character and charm. The stylish and elegant accommodation offers light and airy rooms with stunning views from the master bedroom, and a dining area on the first floor. In the garden there is a unique feature – a folly containing a hot tub for a relaxing dip at the end of a full day.
There are many walks from the front door, and the Brecon Beacons and the Cambrian Mountains are within easy reach. Spring water lakes, the Talley Abbey ruins and the only gold mine in Britain are all close by, and the proximity of the towns of Llandovery, Lampeter and Llandeilo with their amenities and attractions make the Old Barn the perfect base for a wonderful break.

The West Wales / Pembrokeshire / Carmarthenshire region
Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway. Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat.
In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe. You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast.
Llanwrda / Crugybar area
Nestling in idyllic countryside, the village offers scenic walks, a pub, a petrol station with a small shop, and scenic walks. The Talley Abbey ruins are close by, as are the only gold mines in Great Britain, and fresh spring water lakes five miles distant offer ideal salmon fishing conditions. Llandovery, Lampeter and Llandeilo have a great choice of tearooms, restaurants, shops, pub and sporting opportunities, and all of these towns are located within 12 miles of Crugybar. Get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life in this relaxing location.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
