"An absolutely perfect place to stay!"

We'd already read glowing reviews of Elidir Fawr so our expectations were quite high and we weren't disappointed. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Maggie who showed us round and explained everything that we needed to know together with plenty of good local knowledge on where to go/what to see etc. The property was absolutely gorgeous; tastefully decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean to the extent that we couldn't believe our luck! Waiting for us in the kitchen was a freshly baked loaf, along with grapes, a selection of cheeses and a most welcome bottle of red wine! The kitchen itself was extremely well equipped with every utensil and item of crockery that you're likely to need during your stay. The bedroom was fantastic with plenty of clothes storage and a lovely en-suite shower room - a perfect night's sleep is virtually guaranteed. Locationwise it's perfect for your North Wales holiday; slap bang in between Caernarfon and Llanberis and only a short drive from Anglesey and the Lleyn peninsula. We really can't praise it enough and we'll definitely be booking again the next time we want to stay in the area. 10 out of 10!

Maggie and John were very welcoming. The cottage was 5* , very peaceful and quiet which is just what we were hoping for. Couldn't find any fault with this choice at all,and we would like to go again. Many thanks Maggie and John for letting us holiday in such a beautiful Let xx

"Eagle hill"

Location Location Location that's what they say! unbelievable high standard cottage from the welcome from maggie and john to the finer details of a bottle of wine and cheeseboard on arrival. You have to stay at this beautiful cottage to appreciate it from a small lake at bottom of the field to their veg and herb plot.nothing was any trouble for maggie and john from keeping you informed before your arrival to local interests mine being the local pub a 5 min walk downhill,to the local bakery also a 5min uphill! the weather wasn't to kind whilst we were there but a lovely warm walk in shower or deep bath and underfloor heating ever present, who cares! so cast away all modern day worries and book at Eagle Hill,oh and watch out for the Heron,John loves him!
