The South Wales / Swansea/Bridgend/Neath region

Just 18 miles long and less than 8 miles wide the area has nearly 400 miles of public rights of way, and 23 nature reserves. Gower offers a great variety of beaches and coves attracting everyone form surfers to the more relaxed hikers and sun worshipers.
Llanrhidian Village area
The village of Llanrhidian is located on the North Gower coast and benefits from beautiful views over the estuary and salt marshes. The village has two local pubs and the North Gower Hotel that welcomes, that welcomes visitors. The Welcome to Town country bistro, which is right on your doorstep, has won numerous awards including the 2AA Rosette award. The local garage (an easy walk away) doubles as the village store. The beach of Llangennith is 10 - 15 mins drive away and there are many walks in the area in the area for the more active.
How to get there
By car: M4 take J47 onto the A483 to Swansea. The property is approximately 15 miles from this junction. (A full set of directions are available on request). Many airlines fly into Cardiff International which is approximately 1 hour by car. The next closest airport is Bristol which is approximately 2 hours away. Alternatively all major airlines fly to London Heathrow and Gatwick which is approximately 3.5 hours by car. Trains from London Paddington run every hour Monday - Friday.
