Hafod and Ty Nant Barns are luxury self catering barns. They are set in glorious countryside just two miles from the delightful small town of Llanidloes, with its interesting shops, pubs and cafes. Together, the barns comfortably sleep at least 28 in 11 bedrooms. They may be booked separately or together.
The barns are on either side of the former farmyard at Garth Farm – now a spacious landscaped courtyard, providing parking and a garden with a pond and a stream running through. The perfect place for large family holidays and celebrations.

There is a Leisure Centre with squash courts, swimming pool, tennis, table tennis, basketball and a good range of classes and activities.
The Clywedog Lake, a beautiful 600 acre upland reservoir, is home to the local angling and sailing clubs. The walks and scenery are exceptional.
Garth Barns are set in glorious countryside and some of the best waking country is on your doorstep. From a 45min Farm Trail to a 25 mile circular walk taking in the Hafren Forest and source of the River Severn, and lots in between!
There is fishing, sailing, abseiling, canoeing, mountain biking, off road motorcycling and clay pigeon shooting, all within a few miles of Garth Barns.
Beautiful beaches, the Centre for Alternative Technology, Powis Castle and Gardens are less than an hour away.

Further details indoors: Hafod and Ty Nant Barns are luxury self catering barns which can be booked separately or together for larger groups. Hafod has large dining and living spaces where everyone form both barns can socialise and eat together.
Hafod has been decorated in a cool modern style, with solar assisted underfloor heating and big windows opening on to the slate terrace and garden. In contrast, Ty Nant has a homely farmhouse atmosphere with an Aga, big oak table and a traditional fireplace. There are terraces to the front and rear of both barns, and an enclosed safe place for toddlers to play. Lots of playing space inside too!
There is a well equipped gym and sauna. Catering can usually be arranged if required.
Further details outdoors: The barns are part of Garth Farm, 240 acres of hill, fields, woodland and dingle with wildlife pools and spectacular views. Excellent walking country. Farm trail. Good birdwatching. Owls, woodpeckers, buzzards, nuthatches, woodcock and redstarts are resident and ducks and swans are regular visitors.
In the field 300 metres from the barns there is a large pool or small lake with a little rowing boat and a beautiful spot to spend the afternoon or make an outdoor 'cook' for the family.
