Yurt | 1 bedrooms | sleeps 7
Standing in a pretty grass paddock the19ft Welsh yurt is spacious with a double and single bed- for which bedding is provided. In addition there are two mattresses which can be pulled out from under the beds to provide extra sleeping space.
Next to this yurt is a 12ft yurt that has sleeping for two on camp beds. The two yurts are rented together making this an ideal family retreat. Both yurts are felt lined and have woodburning stoves (wood is provided at no extra cost) and can transform into a warm and cosy space. There is no electricity in either yurt so hanging lanterns and candles are provided bring a unique and romantic ambiance to your stay. There is a small gas stove in the Welsh yurt for making tea or coffee but the cooking /dining area is a converted school bus 50m from the yurt. Here also are situated the solar shower and compost loo.
The yurts are in their own enclosed paddock next to a wood, a wonderful place to enjoy a camp fire and to cook your supper over the fire pit, and watch the stars come out and the night roll in.
On our organic farm - we have sheep and jersey house cows which provide us with milk to make our own cheese. Here you will be away from all sounds of traffic, light pollution etc and experience the timelessness of a life lived close to the land. You are free to roam across our fields, sit in our gardens, climb the hills, paddle in streams. Good for couples wanting a peaceful, romantic space, or for families who want space for kids to run wild.
