Craig-y-don
About the home
The lower apartment comprises a generously-sized hallway with light, bright breakfast room and galley kitchen leading off to the left. To the right is a large family bath/shower room and three bedrooms, the principal one benefiting from an ensuite wet-floor shower room. The living room faces the bay and has direct access to the front garden.
The front bedroom with ensuite shower-room has twin beds, bedroom 2 has a double bed and overlooks the village and bedroom 3 also has twin beds.
The present owners, four generations of whom have enjoyed holidays here, sometimes use the upper flat which is entirely separate. We allow one well-behaved pet by prior agreement.

Further details indoors:
The apartment is fully central-heated and has been carefully and fully equipped to ensure that your holiday is convenient as well as enjoyable. The living room has an open fire (logs provided at no extra cost) and flat-screen satellite TV/DVD with freeview channels. The ensuite shower room is brand new with a wet-floor shower, full ventilation, electric towel rail with central heating connection and a ventilated cupboard containing the washing machine and tumble dryer.
The family bathroom has an oversized bath and overhead shower. Water heating is completed modernised with water provided at full mains pressure. There is a large 'map wall' with guides to help you orientate and a coin-operated telephone.
Further details outdoors:
The lower apartment is accessed from the front of the property with separate parking and garden. The entrance is via a private terrace with exterior furniture. While the property is safe for youngsters, this is a cliff top property and care should be taken with very young children though the terrace is gated at both ends.
There is a huge choice of outside activity locally but Llangrannog has two huge advantages: several fabulous beaches and direct and quick access to the Cardigan coastal path which goes by the end of the garden.
The village itself has most of what you need and bar the large supermarket 'shop' (at Cardigan) there is a grocery/variety store, two excellent cafés, a good local pub and a gastropub. And we must mention the summer 'Cardi Bach' which is a bus service for walkers and cyclists linking New Quay and Cardigan and stopping at many isolated points on the way!

Enquire nowThe West Wales / Pembrokeshire / Ceredigion region
The west coast of Wales is an area of outstanding natural beauty and splendour. The area is well-known for its variety and number of large sea-mammals: bottlenose dolphins and harbour porpoises as well as grey seals and rarer visitors. Birdlife includes choughs, peregrine falcons and a huge variety of seabirds.
The countryside itself is far from the welsh mountain image of high moors and sheep: it's green and given over largely to dairy and beef farming. That said, the activities of the Welsh Assembly in recent years have seen welcome improvements to infrastructure such as roads, rail and bus services. Think West Country, without the crowds!
The Llangrannog area
The old fishing village of Llangrannog enjoys possibly the most the most beautiful location of any resort on the Cardiganshire coast. Located 15 miles and 20 minutes by car north of Cardigan, 28 miles and 40 minutes south of Aberystwyth, its sandy main beach forms the outlet of two narrow river valleys, the Hawen and Nant Eisteddfa.
Around the dramatic rock outcrop of Careg Bica (Giant's Tooth) to the north is the smaller and more private beach of Cilborth which is cut off by tide but easily accessible by footpath. Viewed on a fine day from the clifftop one could be in the tropics. There are several small tidal bays further north whose isolation will recall childhood stories of Robinson Crusoe. Local activities include bathing, diving, sea fishing and walking.
