Just 2 miles outside Llangollen and with glorious views, this lovely barn conversion makes a great holiday destination.

Llangollen is famous for its canal with horse-drawn boats, the international music eisteddfod, railway and the glorious countryside which surrounds it.

Other places to visit include: Chirk, Corwen, Oswestry, Wrexham, The Horseshoe pass and Bala with its beautiful lake. This area is also popular with mountain bikers, walkers and golfers.

There is a golf club with a bar and restaurant 5 minutes' walk from the cottage and many more pubs and restaurants in Llangollen.

This very well appointed property is attractive, comfortable and well equipped.

Entrance is into the fully fitted KITCHEN which has a large range master cooker with gas hob and electric ovens, large 60/40 integrated fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

The OPEN PLAN LIVING AND DINING ROOM which has a wooden floor, rug and is furnished with a very comfy crimson three piece suite, nest of tables, TV with DVD player, CD, radio and iPod dock and a good selection of books, games and DVDs. The dining area has an extendable dining table with 6 chairs.

First Floor

Carpeted stairs lead to the bedrooms and bathroom.

BEDROOM 1 has a double bed, bedside shelf and chest, chest of drawers and wardrobe.

BEDROOM 2 has twin beds, bedside chest with lamp, chest of drawers and wardrobe.

Beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.

The BATHROOM has a suite of white bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.

Garden & Parking

There is a small sitting out area with lovely views of the valley.

A table and chairs is provided and there are open lawn areas with attractive borders shared by the neighbouring barns.

Parking space for two cars beside the property.

Other Information

There is gas central heating throughout, this is charged at a flat rate of £35 per week from October to April and included from May to September.

Please pay for this when you book your holiday.

A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available.

A bath towel and hand towel for each guest are provided.

Llangollen

Renowned for the surrounding hills and the River Dee, Llangollen has something for every visitor. There is a range of cafés, bars and restaurants to suit every appetite and pocket. This small town also has a wealth of independent shops to browse and interesting places to visit. Take a stroll along the Victoria Promenade, picnic in the Riverside Park or watch the river flow beneath the bridge. For the more energetic there is a whole range of outdoor activities.

Every summer since 1947, Llangollen has staged one of the world's most inspiring cultural festivals. Each year at the beginning of July, around 4,000 performers converge on this small Welsh town and the Royal International Pavilion, to participate in a unique combination of competition, performance, peace and friendship.

Yu can ride on the steam railway or experience peace and tranquility, gliding along the canal on a horse-drawn boat. Llangollen is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site along eleven miles of canal from Gledrid to the Horseshoe Falls via the spectacular Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
